I have just been asked to spend the next few months expanding my MSc thesis so that it could be used for publication by a big international health organization (read: every med school and doctor should be very familiar with this organization). I won't be published for a few months, but considering my "plans for this year" on the secondary apps stated "I plan to look for a job in my field", I thought I could send a letter telling the schools I'll be working on this project.

Any thoughts? Should I just wait for the publication?
