I don't really have any strong wolf reads. Stagg, Bob, mkg, pleasy are who I'm thinking about today.

I'm interested to hear more about your Cray read, especially since Zenge put her as top village read. I have a hard time with her, she's like the one person who can pocket me in PMs. So any insight is appreciated.

The fact it came after night close actually makes it important to me because that reads list didn’t didn’t taint the night kill choice by the wolves.

It didnt seem like a joke. Seemed like you actually wanted to do it, talked about the stats of getting a wolf, and never moved a vote. Felt like you were really considering it.

I agree. This sounds like my kids trying to brush off something they truly meant as a joke.

It was a D1 4 way tie of people with 2 votes with an outstanding vote left. Did you honestly think it was going to end like that? I even said I would move to TME if it really got desperate. Then others who had weaker commitments to their votes started saying theyd move. Then out of nowhere the alley ambush reared its ugly head.

Again. Cubs sounded village until 4 way tie. This type of defense is the second thing that doesn’t sound right

I was giving chaos a little ribbing by pulling out some statistics on the situation as he has done in multiple games (which i stated on thread). I cant change how you interpret it but I definitely wasnt truly advocating for that. And yes I have advocated for ties in the past, but when there was more actual evidence on the players and usually only a 2 person tie, not a D1 null informed orgy-qualifying number.

Chaos isn’t here and it didn’t sound like a joke. Moving on.

I guess I should stop paying Bob for my joke tutoring sessions.

Forgot what I had for this. Which is sad since it was most recent. I find it weird that cray is getting village read with minimal posts. And recent history of wolves lurking. Maybe bc wolfcray wouldn’t lurk but that is just enough to be neutral.

What if all 4 leading wagons were village? And wolves were happy to be apart of us eating ourselves.
If it ended in a tie no skin off their backs.
Plus TME and I were around to move to break the tie to save ourselves.
The fact that the tie lasted until 5 minutes before yeet close feels weird and like the the wolves didn’t have to worry about protecting their own. I felt like I was playing chicken.

And genny is right, if this was the wolves’ strategy cubs wouldn’t haven’t drawn attention to it.

I wouldn’t count on it. When you have a small pack especially, ties emerging close to close can be pretty terrifying to try to mess with in defence of a packmate. Plus there was some vote movement around close, so I wouldn’t say everyone was happy with the tie.

cubsrule4e - Wolf read. Didn’t like the reasoning for the Samac vote or sitting on it. Didn’t like the excitement over the tie.

Everyone else I’m currently neutral on, and intend to look at closer today, including Mel, who I’m reconsidering my wolf read of, I always find him sketchy but there was some logic behind his posting I can see as being a village!mel thing to do.

Someone made the point that wolfcubs wouldn’t openly do the 4 way tie. I expect it would be equally poor play to NK the guy wolf reading you.

When I was a wolf I was just as afraid of ties as I am as village - unless the wolves knew they were completely uninvolved in the tie at all, it has just as much chance of backfiring on them. And wolves have smaller numbers and can’t spare a few dead like village can

I need to review exact time stamps but I am slightly suspicious of the timing of staggs voting, though it is buffered by his general awolness. If I recall correctly he changed his vote after Samac had already broken the tie, curious if he was just feeling a change or trying to take advantage of panicking Samac to protect a teammate

So it looks like I'm 500 posts behind. Gonna try to catch up today. Pregnancy is finally really and truly kicking my ass starting now.

The low lying placenta seen at 20 wk u/s (too close to opening of cervix making vaginal birth too much of a bleeding risk) that could have been a compulsory c-section has grown away from the opening as my uterus grew, as expected and hoped for. I'm cleared for a vaginal birth. The baby is head down so I don't need to schedule an external version (more yay!). Baby is 65th percentile size so not too big not too small. All good news.

But I am having pelvic girdle pain, I can feel the bones in my pubic symphysis basically coming apart. Also I am getting like a sciatic pain that is giving me excruciating stabbing sensations in my heel even in bed. The baby's feet can finally reach to push against my ribs but it isn't too bad yet. Only like 8 weeks and the baby doubling in weight to go!!

I'm also pretty darn tired too.

I don't think 5 minutes is particularly long. It's different if everyone had voted and it sat for an hour, but I need more flips to get a better feel of that tie.

I don't constantly keep track of every vote, and hers was obscure enough in the midst of other people talking about voting Alley that it just didn't stick out (which is also part of why it feels icky to me).

It's not grasping at straws and not based off of him not being active. He is here and he is actively reading the thread, but he was not generating a lot of content himself. It's almost as if he has taken a step back and he is watching the rest of us talk and not actually contributing much himself. I know I have done that in the past as a wolf, so I try to look out for it in other people as the game progresses. Usually Zenge is actively contributing and has unique thoughts. Now I will give him some credit because I have started to see a bit of that in his most recent posts talking about me being TWTBT and his jester theory. Also it is D1 and there is not a lot of stuff to tallk about, but TME and I have both pointed out things that we noticed and what we think are actions that are a bit off, and we have both gotten sus for doing that.

Interesting the way alley anz zenge went against each other in what we now know v vs v, yet the wolves chose to NK zenge rather than stoke sus. Maybe I'm missing a reveal or a soft or something. Don't want to get lost in NKA WIFOM territory, but def wondering what can be learned from zenge thread interactions.
