If it goes into an F3 with me, Mel, and AM, then we're probably screwed and a wolf AM or Mel then wins.

Unless AM is willing to vote Mel over myself, I'd like to just skip that endgame and go straight to write up.

Just praying we don't have another 2 kill night, because I can imagine how that would go.
 
Night Four

The reporter clicked through the emails on her phone. Writer’s block. Ugh.

Even better when she had nil to write about. Slow news days were the worst.

Her source at the M.E.’s office had told her another victim had been found but didn’t know more details. Someone else had told her that an arrest had been made in the case but no one seemed willing to utter anything beyond “no comment.”

Awaiting trial is @cubsrule4e , who was "not a sadist, as their victims were not tortured or mutilated," a vanilla villager.

Crime butchers innocence to secure a prize, and innocence struggles with all its might against the attempts of crime.

It's more like why was I wolf reading her until the end of yesterday. I saw Vis's claim and got worried I was seeing a Worst Idea/HZD repeat.

Today, I'm less certain though because, outside of being in the POE, there's a chance I could still be here because I'm stuck on her.
 
for full disclosure my family is coming into town this afternoon and I'm probably gonna be a lot less active, don't know if i'll be able to do further ISOs but i'll try if I have time

my tinfoily thought right now is that Mel latched onto the stagg writeup tinfoil so hard because he knew the bussing was real and wanted to divert attention. I'm happy with my vote where it is.

I really don't like how you phrased this, it reads and as though you're saying that we read her as village until now, and that now we're not? I don't really recall this being my stance. Feels very diengeneuous of you.

I have been village reading TME all game, except someone, I don't recall where/when, made an excellent case for her wolfiness, and I did call her out for a couple of posts.

I'm not willing to let Mel win with this lame all game tunnel of his, and as much as I hate losing to AM.... I'd rather lose to AM not getting me yeeted at endgame for the win. I'd rather reward this approach to wolfing she's had if indeed she is wolfing.

Also willing to lose to TME, as I have legit read her village for the most part for most of the game.

I'm thinking I'll end up voting cheezit. For now not going in hopes I can do some reading or still work with whoever actually is village to find the wolf in case I'm wrong about Mel.
 
It would be pretty disappointing to lose with a village Mel though because we were cross voting each other. But that might be out of my hands.

WHY would I vote WITH wolf!bob on Cray if we both knew that she would flip village and that wagon would be analyzed, especially since I was on the board myself? That would have been the end of us both.

The only people to even mention bob before me asking VSLMIP about him, were Samac as an RVS, and Visc and Zenge village reading him. Not a goddam person was considering him wolfy until I put him in my wolf reads D2. Thats a completely unnecessary bus. AND I SWEAR TO GOD IF SOMEONE SAYS "but mel you would do that as a wolf" I don't bus unnecessarily, and even more so I've stated multiple times that I would rather go for the sweep these days because thats the only time I feel a challenge wolfing. Look at my last wolf game. I got caught up trying to dig genny out of being voted off for two days straight and coupled with being busy, I didn't do a good job of inserting myself into the village block. I DO NOT BUS PEOPLE FOR NO GOOD REASON.

If I'm still on anyone's wolf list, you have THE WORST reads I have ever seen.

OK, this is all actually fair. But I also know if I'm still your top wolf vote, it's a likely game losing read.

Another thing has been bugging me guys. My mod role hasn't given me an age. I started looking, and age also wasn't a given up through genny's deaths. So I'm confused if AM's claim is genuine or different than the pattern. Am I wrong and one of the dead villager unsubs mentioned an age range??

I'm not sure what you're referring to. I don't have an age range, but Vis had one and was village.
 
Hi so it took way long getting my parents from the airport and now dinner and tbh I’m gonna have minimal time, though I’ll be around before close

I already made a big post about how I’m unimpressed with mel’s wolf read on bob being as important as he said it is. His strongest comments came after two people were already voting there, and he never did until the day bob went down. If stagg really put the bussing part in, I think it was meant to be about Mel.

I’ve never cleared you, and if the game were never ending you would be next after Mel, but as I think I said before there’s been nothing from your play that screamed wolf to me other than the fact that you’re trying to yeet me. Otherwise it’s more disengaged than suspicious. The biggest red flag is your known refusal to bus, in conjunction with refusal to vote bob. But I’ve seen you freeze in this kind of votes as village too. Mel has had more specific things that felt wolfy. Especially his opener today.

I also think that of the people left at end game, this feels more like a setup Mel would want than you or cray would want
 
I also do agree with cray that totally outing the wolf in the write up seems a little like a dick move from the mods, so I’d feel a little bad winning that way. I’m also doubting whether we would even have that much influence - we’re allowed to choose our MO, but not write our own whole write up to my understanding

This is actually a great point. In what universe as what is looking like the final wolf going into end game, do I decide the two villagers I want with me are AM and MEL???? So I can rely on WIFOM and reverse psychology to try to save me in the face of a statistical certainty that one or both vote me, and that these are the two villagers I want to try to get to not vote me or to vote each other?

In a way, this is exactly what Mel has to be arguing is true to say that I'm the final wolf. Which is just like, wat? I'm hoping somehow this observation escaped him. Because it makes no sense.

I could see either AM or Mel wanting to take AM or Mel plus myself to an end game, and seeing one as a likely ally and the other as maybe an ally (in the case of a wolf AM I can see her thinking I might side with her) or scapegoat (AM or Mel thinking they could get AM or Mel to vote me).

This game wasn't heavy on PRs and some of the PRs we had were not obvious to me, so I guess you could claim I thought there were bigger PR fish to fry and that is why I never got around to NKing Mel or AM, but still.... in a game with this many vanillas, it's just as likely in a vanilla heavy game that rather than focus on pure PR hunting, I would be killing according to who makes for a good end game. I'd have to look to see how many reveals we had from some of the NKs.

And I think TME can vouch, I start every wolf game in wolf chat discussing NK strategy and the concept of starting to craft your perfect end game from D1, meaning you don't only consider what PRs you need to kill, and who are the easy misyeets, but that your kill and misyeet choices are made thinking about, who am I going to leave for end game? AM and Mel both would NEVER be in my end game of choice. I have not had any control of who made it today alive besides my yeet votes and this is further evidence.

Now, I don't want to totally leave TME out of this. From what I can tell, she's been surprisingly supportive this game of AM. So I have to wonder if she thought she could get myself and AM to turn on Mel, or AM and Mel to turn on me. It seems less dangerous of an endgame for AM, Mel, or TME to include the other players than it does for myself to leave AM and Mel.
 
And conversely, I can see a wolfy AM betting that Mel and I are never able to successfully work together to ensure a yeet against her at end game.
 
If I was a wolf, it'd make sense for an endgame without Enigma since that would end the record with her vote on Mel.

End what record? And would it really have made sense for you to kill Engima instead and take Cubs to end game instead? Not sure about that.

Also, can anyone refresh me who Cubs was sussing? I don't recall exactly where he stood on everyone except that he didn't seem keen to yeet me.

I see what you mean by end the record now. Not sure how compelling an argument this is that a wolfy you would kill TME over Cubs, to frame Mel.

I don't know, as a wolf my NK choices are more straightforward for who is for/against me going into end game, rather than relying on kills to set up suspicion because of the WIFOM nature of NKA maybe not helping me that way.

Who did TME have most incentive not to take to end game?
