Looking just at wagons, Stagg, stoat, and Dubz I think were in positions that could counter mighty’s wagon. Not saying they’re all in the pack together. PSV’s timing of moving to my wagon when mighty was going down, not when we were tied, seems less likely as a wolf strategy, though I suppose a WIFOM move is possible. Of them, Stagg’s vote movement right when mighty couldn’t be saved is spooky. Santy is another possible bus. Nate being frozen until right at the end getting on mighty’s wagon also feels off.

All we have is a little night phase shade. Perhaps it's opportunism. Hard to do a lot with it.

Not much here either. Vis was among Nate's middling null+/- reads alongside mighty. Otherwise it's late-Day 1 stuff that already came up in the mighty/Nate review when the two mafia were premier wagons. I wish I had more to say.

Conclusion

There's nothing here to move the needle to any significant degree.

I appreciate the vote of confidence! I anticipate work bogging me down for much of the week, but while I am here I will do my utmost. samac's shoes are big shoes to fill. Which in no way reflects on the size of samac's feet. I do not know that.

Suddenly, a loud "thwack" is heard.

She loved all things purple. Her hair was purple, her favorite stone was purple amethyst, and one of her favorite treats was blackberry cobbler, especially if she could have it with some vanilla ice cream. Not just regular vanilla ice cream - the extra sweetness of getting it for free on the best day of the year.

Abigail enjoyed living a little dangerously. One of her favorite places to linger was in the mines, playing her flute. No one knew if she did this trying to lure monsters to her or if she was just attracted to the unique acoustics of playing the flute in a cave with the background of things that wanted to kill her. She was an odd duck, sometimes, that Abigail, even if she didn't have any ducks of her own. But rest assured that if she did, her ducks would be on a string.

She had a wry sense of humor and sometimes liked to make jokes that seemed particularly lewd, like when she'd tell a guy that he really knew his way around a joystick, pausing to add "I guess that makes sense," or would answer prompts in games with things like "carnal union of the flesh." But this was no joking matter to her.

She'd thought long and hard about her choice before making it, talking to herself in the wee hours of the night. But deep in her heart, she knew she believed in it, and she committed to that decision.

Unbeknownst to her, the rubble of someone's destruction had yielded another commitment: to smash that pretty purple hair into oblivion.

She was playing one of her favorites on her flute and didn't hear the whistle of the board, nor the thud of her body hitting the ground. It was quick, so quick it was hardly noticeable, and left her to B♭ in the ground ... for good.

I know you find her easy to read but she did well in every wolf game I played with her and the only time she was easily read was CYO2 (3?)

I’m thinking of Stranger Things, and I don’t have other specific memories of her wolfing in other games which means I was oblivious that she was wolfing during the games.

These come from an exchange with AM about Barky. AM suggesting Barky is an easy read, and Vis lent some resistance to the idea. This extends more broadly from the criticism Vis received for their own mayoral suggestions and claims about who is an easy read. In that sense I think Barky is more of an ancillary character in this dialogue.

Red - Per the nearest tally, Barky's miranda vote tied the poll at 2-2 Vis-miranda (with about 11 hours remaining in Day 1). Four other people had one vote each, so the wagons were quite small at this point. This is a bit sketchy.

Perhaps more to Barky's credit, toward the end of Night 1 they were promoting a more concrete mafia read on Vis and tying them to mighty. The last post was just prior to Vis' demise.

Conclusion

Kind of a mixed bag. I am bugged by the red point, so I welcome others' thoughts on that. I'm not inclined to clear Barky based on Vis interactions.

The red point was the reason for my Barks vote yesterday. From a gamestate perspective with (at least) two wolves on the board, that's where I'd expect a partner vote to be. All the other votes around that time were spreading out the board. I'm also interested in Lawpy's 2nd vote for Lucy for that reason, since it came after Mighty picked up a 2nd vote, and made it a Vis/miranda/Mighty/lucy tie.
