I'm not sure how many times I've heard something like this, but it's a lot. Questions are a valuable resource, and far too often in Mafia do we (the general "we" meaning "people that play Mafia") treat them like something less than that. They're especially important to my methodology, and that is amplified further in a game like this where I have very little prior knowledge of the players. Questions help me to orient myself in the game. I also just expanded on some of the rationale underlying questions I had asked AM and Stagg. Do you have a perspective about that?

I agree with asking questions but the questions you asked don’t seem useful to me and mostly seem to invite dragging on a fight that could become one of those pretty-off-topic vicious fights that demoralize and exhaust people. But then people don’t always see value in questions I feel are important to ask, so I probably can’t throw too many stones.

I , for one think that people with the No Bus Meta are actually good subjects for mayor. Being able to lead village fairly well its also a plus, since why I nominated Dubz .
Other two names I thought about were AM and Zenges, but Zenges I currently am not trusting much, and I get the feeling that sometimes AM is kinda stubborn with mech realted things. Specially when villaging so it doesnt feel as optimal to my Dubz option rn.


I think Lucy is also a player that I could read well if needed, but unless she obvtowns, the read tends to come later and I dont think Lucy will have the amount of *impact* that I feel like mayour should have to the gamestate tbh

I hate this. I proved the no bus meta can be turned in at any time.

Its a one time thing and if players had it for quite a bit of time I think its probably +ev to still believe in that rule.

This may be a meme but, for the people who have never played with mayor, do not seer them. Ever. Only elect people you can read correctly without needing an investigative. The first time I was mayor, I specifically became seer immune which was horrific and lead to me being perma-POE before village just lost altogether.

I think that what was disctintive from Villa!miranda was the aggressivenes and just clear wolfhunting she had.

Their tone / or appearing freeflowing think its what maybe fooled some in fe3h. Miranda spent almost all dayphase talking about mayoral fluff, which is SUPER easy for a wolf to do and its lacking the distinctive trait of villa!miranda.

Im not selling this as a sure wolf read, but I do think its a nice enough reason to not make mira da the mayor hmmyes

I actually can agree with what Santy is saying here. Going to think on this further but the tonal shift is real

@Animal Midwife, I have been considering a parallel I have observed between this game and the previous game I played here (Time to Get a WWatch). In the early period of that game, you got into a lengthy exchange with Truenamer and one or two others about how you perceived his view of bussing, or how likely he would be to bus (something broadly about bussing). The dialogue ended up being irrelevant, because he was town and you were not. That was something I regretted not poking at a bit more effortfully in that game.

This time there's a similar exchange between you and Stagg. I'm not sure what relevance it holds in this game. It's a lengthy interchange about how well Stagg has read you in the past, and you drove your points home over the course of an hour or so. I realize there's not a lot you can say in response to this parallel, so I'll reduce it to a couple questions:

Why have this dialogue?
Would you say this is ordinary of you regardless of your affiliation?

Anyone else with a perspective on AM can absolutely share that, though I ask you please allow her to answer for herself first.

It’s more nuanced than that imo. It’s hard to describe but there’s a subtle shift in aggressiveness when AM is wolfing. But AM for sure will fight with strong conviction as village if she feels the arguments presented to her are wrong. It may seem irrelevant to the overall game but it’s not AI.

I haven’t gotten wolfy feels from AM from her exchange with Staggs

It was a quiet night on Ginger Island, if you stretch the meaning of quiet to encompass the hum of tractors working through the night. The moonlight fell across the faces of farmers hard at work, planting seeds and tenderly covering them with soil, hoping that they would yield a rich bounty. Some chose to forgo the backbreaking work, instead taking advantage of the late-night store opening, or even just kicking up their feet and getting a good night's rest. City slickers, I tell ya.

The sun's rays peeking over the horizon felt warm and comforting, reassuring (perhaps falsely) the farmers that their crops were well cared for and would blossom in the future. But as the day dawned, a chilling realization fell over the group, remembering that this situation they found themselves in had the potential to be a mystery that required solving.

Or perhaps they were just in pastoral paradise after all. Who was to say?
