What I mean is that the late vote movement wasn’t from wolves, but I can’t yet rule out that some early votes may have gone to PSV to present an alternate wagon to a wolf that got a vote or two

I literally do not how to respond to how absurd it is to go after someone because they didn’t make a “continued push” on someone they’ve found to mostly sound village because they noted one thing that sounded slightly concerning. Like, pack it up ya’ll, we’ve arrived in the upside down.

If I'm going to be perfectly honest, your behavior yesterday feels a little too... much, for a wolf? At least, if I was a wolf I wouldn't try and hammer away for hours like that.

But Alley was backing you up, no one else was on thread, and I'm not familiar with your wolfing style. You may have felt like you were making real headway on the second misyeet of the game, and that could explain things.

Either way, my vote is currently sitting on the person I feel has been least pro-village. There are many hours until yeet close, and I'm trying to be open and thoughtful.

Tbh I can get this, I know how it feels reaching for anything to analyze, and I’ve seen people get misyeeted for being the one to bite the bullet and reach to stir up some conversation. Usually alley.

My impression is that she makes that kind of joke regardless of alignment. I can certainly relate.

So ISO of Barks looks good to me (just something about the way she’s going about things feels organic and genuine and there’s nothing that poos as wolfy), but on reading things in context I can kind of almost convince myself of alley/Barks pack…

but also not really because I’m also getting more and more tinges of “something’s not right, I feel like True or AM has to be wolfing because I’m village reading them but I can feel myself actively in the process of choking”

Anyways, back to the reread of Barks and vote progression around her vote:

True- only like 2 pingy comments, feeling way better about him than I usually do on D1.

First thing that came up about True since she salt-yeeted him. Looks like a natural progression of “oh yeah, True, he actually seems villagey, time to change to a real vote”, but obviously this isn’t something it’s hard to fake.

Just noting this was a reply to alley so I guess you could argue she chose to use her packmate’s reads rather than any other of the many places True was mentioned to be “reminded” of him playing and it being time to switch off him - easy way to get Nonsuspicious Thread Interactions. Some wolves are drawn to interacting more with packmates than they would if not packmates and some avoid them, not sure where Barks typically falls.

Barks vote for PSV was half a page after the first alley vote, but there were 2 other wagons with one vote as well, so IDK that she would be so threatened by it she would need to get on PSV. I don’t think True or I had expressed much suspicion of alley yet, and even when I did alley apparently thought that I was talking about being suspicious of PSV, not of her.

I also don’t know to what extent it would spook Barks to hop onto the same wagon as her packmate immediately after her packmate was voted - again, I don’t remember how powerwolfy Barks can be.

Obviously she could be telling the truth and didn’t know about the vote for alley. Honestly even if she’s a wolf with alley it might be more likely she just didn’t see it and had planned to get on PSV since that was pretty much the only person she’d established being significantly suspicious of earlier (or had seen it, would prefer to vote elsewhere to avoid looking like she was protecting a packmate, but felt like it would just be too suspicious to vote somewhere else when she hadn’t established any other wolf reads).

What. Have you even discussed PSV before this?

Barks obviously did, so I could see this as a way to distance without doing any permanent damage to Barks (since the sus could easily be dispelled by showing she did talk about her PSV concerns)

I didn’t like the original True vote and the switch to PSV felt off. I haven’t liked some of PSV’s posts this game but I want to give it one more day.

And alley finds and brings up where Barks did already talk about PSV, helpfully brings it to everyone’s attention, and invites Barks to give more thoughts. Seems like a pretty classic way of getting packmate interactions to help each other prove villageyness without appearing to defend each other, however:

What I said earlier with the AM thing. I don’t see how her voting right away is AI and then the backtracking

I haven’t read the last 4 pages so that’s what I got

Barks wasn’t prepared to give more thoughts, which definitely doesn’t point to this being a planned interaction. Doesn’t rule it out as w/w since w/w interactions definitely aren’t always elegantly planned and alley and Barks might have just not been on the same page, but it’s not support for w/w.

Pretty sure alley is a common D1 misyeet

Could see this as some very mild/indirect inconspicuous defence of a packmate. I could also see it as AM defending a packmate in a much less mild way.

I know I was part of the problem by voting late, but the rapid consolidation on PSV right before close could be viewed as protecting Alley.

I need to relook at timing but close to yeet close it was PSV in the lead and other people at 1 vote each so I’m not too sure about this idea. Also how many wolves do you think there are in this game? Because there was a fair bit of movement toward the end last night

True, but one of those people was alley and the vote was right after the vote for alley. See a few posts above for my thoughts on this.
