I think the wait for the official acceptance letter is getting to me too! I was just browsing Sullivan's website and it states that the physical examination is part of the application packet which is due on Jan 31. I remember reading on SDN that the physical was due before the start of class but I just sent an email to make sure again. WHEN WILL THE LETTER ARRIVE???
So, how have everyone here been keeping busy to not think about the letter? As for myself, I have been working 40 hrs/week and working out to kill time! I hope we get the letter this week...but that's just my wishful thinking. 🙂
Hey there uncc.. yes I currently work at the pharmacy and I plan on working while in school to save up for plane tickets home. Wow, you are planning on buying a condo near school? I am unsure where I want to live but keep me posted.
I've been working 40 hrs/week and remodeling my kitchen and spending $$$ because I know if I get in I will be POOR!! I am also working out my contingency plan if I don't get in. I am taking the GMAT and applying to the MBA program at IUS. I want to get a MBA to go with my PharmD anyway.
Maybe the letters will come this week.....

Did u already get a conditional acceptance letter?? BTW Dr. Faccione told me that in a few years they plan to offer the MBA/PharmD.
I have BAD NEWS for those that likes to wear jeans. I got an email from Dr. Tran today stating that jean is not part of Sullivan's dress code. So, start looking for dress clothes..🙁
I didn't ask the question about the dress code but he sent me an email about it. I think it was just a personal email bc I didn't see any other email address listed. You can call the school to confirm the dress code.
Oh man. When i saw "BAD NEWS" in caps, i thought u were going to say something terrible like they won't open or something....
I nearly had a heart attack opening my email too. It started as "Oink, I have bad news for you..." I thought I was disqualified from the program since I have not turn in my physical examination. 1 day down..4 more to go. Hope the letter come sometime this week.
Ok no more BAD NEWS talk on here. All I saw when I opened the forum was "I have bad news for" and then my computer closed out my screen. I spent the next 2 minutes trying not to vomit as I rebooted my computer. I can handle not wearing jeans, it's not going to pharmacy school that I CANNOT handle. Keep ur fingers crossed for what is left of this week

I very seldom wear jeans anyway, my butt is too big. I assume that baggy sweats are out of the question as well 🙂

According to the husband of a faculty member, the actual letter was received last week so HOPEFULLY that means they get mailed this week. He didn't know any details though.

No it wasn't a mass email. Like a lot of other people on here, I had the whole "conditional acceptance" talk after my interview in November, so I sent an Email inquiring about the receipt of my transcripts from Graduate coursework I'd completed thus far. That was just part of the reply.

We are having an ice storm in Louisville and Sullivan dismissed class and staff early. I hope they got those letters in the mail before they left. 😀
Wow...an ice storm? Is the weather usually that bad in Louisville? I am surely going to miss sunny CA🙁
Oink, I wouldn't mind some warmer weather but it is not that bad. It has been weird this year with cold temps alternating with 50-60 degree days. It seems like the warmer spells end with some severe weather that is followed by a cold front.
I'd say that full out winter is probably 6-8 weeks out of the year. Pharmacyanalyst, would you agree?
I agree- winter is usually late Dec-early Feb and this is the first time in awhile I can remember any snow days. We usually get a dusting a few times and that's it. By KY is a far cry from CA- invest in a good jacket and some gloves!
The dreaded "ice storm" wasn't too bad if you are a Yankee like me but I did use it as an excuse to leave work early. 😀
BTW- already checked the mail, no letter today.

Bull**** i hate how some of u come up with inflated tuition to discourage others. I didnt even had sullivan on my map after my interview bc i said 40k is too much for just tuition but here is the correct answer from their website:

oh my gosh ... another whole week of waiting!!!!!! you would think they would get tired of us all calling to inquire!!! hopefully they end of the week means we dont have to wait allllllllllll weekend too!!!!!!!!!! good luck all... anyone heard from other schools?
I applied to 2 other schools (new schools) and was accepted to both within a week of my interview date....not that I care anymore b/c im not gonna go here even if I am accepted...but what is the wait for again?? for some letter they are waiting for-why is it other new schools don't have to wait for this letter...I think its funny!
