for people who got accepted, did your AADSAS status changed?
 
Omg this is killing me! My last name is "N" AND I'm Canadian. Have any Canadian's gotten an acceptance?

im canadian too, haven't gotten an acceptance yet. but i saw on fb quite a few canadian got accepted, started from 7am

I am so sorry. I really hope you get more post- dec interviews and get in. I have one interview too with Nova, and I think I am getting waitlisted or worse. But don't lose hope. You'll get into a better school, I really hope so

Really? I feel like there is no particular order to them calling. :/
 
In-state last name starts with B, I’m starting to get really worried. It seems like they are finished with In-state phone calls.
 
I called the admissions office (might have been a bad idea haha) but they said it's completely random. In-state, OoS, last name, etc is all completely randomized according to them. It might just be something they say but don't actually follow, but if you're in-state don't lose hope. You could still get called today or even tomorrow. Stay positive everyone

Yeah, it gave me some hope but just a tiny bit. Still not feeling great atm as an in-state


I'm also thinking about what Dr. Jeffers said, he said around 260 will get the call and it's 50-50 between in state and out of state. They also have two days of calls. So it would be surprising if they got all the in-state students done already, as you'd think it would take half the scheduled time (so around one full day). This makes me think that it is genuinely randomized.

Of course my assumption could be totally wrong, for example maybe they're only going to call for an hour or two tomorrow. But it's worth considering I guess. Any in-state students out there who just got accepted within the last hour?

I bit the bullet and called again, they said there's no cutoff for how late it goes. Same for tomorrow as well.

For those who get in, how long did the call last? If he's calling 260 people it could go pretty late on both days if the call is like 5 minutes.

Also yeah this thread went pretty quiet, somebody please update. I'm still hanging on to the hope that it's truly random and us in-state students still have a chance

I really would advise you to not call again for your own sake... 😛

Oh did it get confirmed as random? I feel like I never know with these things haha. Schools sometimes say things but do it another way behind the door
 
Does anyone know if they've sent all their rejections out already?

I know a D3 who told me it was alphabetical when they were accepted. Last name was P and was in state and accepted the second day.
 
Anyone who interviewed on Dec the 1st and got accepted?
My status still shows Invited for interview..

Edit: (Just an observation)

So judging by the small sample size we were given in the facebook group post (datbootcamps interview post), and the two acceptances above (congrats btw!), they do indeed seem to going in some sort of alphabetic sequence. Ive heard that they call from east to west, as it would make sense from a timezone perspective, but that was dispelled since some californians had received their acceptances already. Maybe it's some sort of combination of the two? Sorry guys.. Im just super anxious and I just need some sort of reasoning or methodical analysis to give me some sort of peace of mind
