I would love to be able to interview while I am already out there for the holidays!

Speaking of that, where are we all meeting up when I get into town! 😀

Well, I am going to worry first about getting that interview! THEN, I'll worry about meeting up with everyone. I must say gdbaby, FLOP totally left us behind! 😉 He started his official Loyola Class of 2010 thread!! I feel used and abused!

fear not.. I have not left at ALL...I just didn't think it would be nice to talk about apartments, moving and other stuff on this thread when some people are still trying to get interviews - didn't want to rub anything in anybody's face, hence the class thread that I started... but of COURSE I will still be hanging out here!

I wonder if they slowed down a bit with interviews because of all the holidays? And Barbara, to answer your question - jbrice is in charge of picking a place for us to have cider when we all get in.

I am following my friend around Loyola next Tuesday so I can DROOL all over everything.... I work with a recent Loyola alum at a hospital...she says I should get a letter from him to push my app over the edge in the good direction...any thoughts????

There's a list on the wall here at school that says who's coming for interviews each day...the list looks like they are only interviewing monday thru wednesday this week (so somewhat of a slowdown). still not time to worry yet people. they are still interviewing. 🙂

so i called loyola this week. and they told me "your file is complete. it has not yet been reviewed. but we'll let you know."

i thought to myself....WTF?!?!? everything has been in for at least 1.5 months. and they haven't reviewed it yet? i want an interview from loyola and i'd probably go if i got in, but not at this rate. loyola officially sucks in my book, right now.

to boot, i went to jesuit high school too.

Sane...... reading this thread has one of two effects. it either makes me stressed and raises my Blood pressure or offers the comfort of knowing there are others who are still waiting to hear.

My friends like it when I'm stressed though, because I end up baking or cooking tons of food that I have to give away!! One way to befriend fellow class mates 🙂

I just read an article about "water assasins" and thought it would be a fun way to get to know each other - keep in mind, this would happen in July when it is super hot.. let me know what you think. Here is how it works - everybody that wants to participate fills out a small card with a photo, an address and a phone number. Then, all participants get the card of another player. The goal is to find the player you are assigned to assasinate, and then soak them with squirt guns before your assasin gets you. Once you assasinate the target, you take the card that the target was assigned, and hunt down the next person. Last person left dry wins.

When I first read this I thought it said "Water Asians" so when I kept reading I thought that hunting down Asains with water pistols didn't seem like a nice thing to do. But since we will be equal opportunity assasins, game on!

i am a PCA in intensive care so i need something to lighten the mood and take my mind off of bedpans, foley bags, dirty linens and patient and call lights ever now and then

yea, i either work 7p-7a or 11p-11a and i am generally messed up even on my days off! i hate the night shift for what it has done to my body - i used to be in SUPER great shape, but now, just to be healthy i have to work 5 times as hard and REALLY watch what i eat! i try not to eat on my shift, but that is hard sometimes.

that sounds bad, i am not trying to be vane, i am a runner and a very fitness motivated individual that's all....and i really feel like crap the days i don't run, which is usually the days i work because with running and working, when i am supposed to sleep? man, the real world sucks, i miss undergrad 😉

but, i am off to loyola now - gonna spend the day with a friend there! LOVE IT! wish me luck - gdbaby, send some of those good luck vibes my way!
