I got the call at around 1:00 Chicago time. The number came up on my caller ID, and I don't remember the number. It wasn't Rosemary or Matt that called though - I think it was somebody named Jane (?) I was in such a hazy ecstatic mindset that I don't really remember the details.

Do you think they call daily for interviews? Since they interview so little people at one time, I would assume they would call per day. Who knows.

i think it's just the packet with financial aid info...and whatever we need to fill out for them to determine what our package will be. probably similar to tax forms. don't really know much about how fin. aid works though

do you guys know how loyola informs you of possible school scholarships/grants? Is it with your acceptance letter, or with the financial aid stuff, or after you matriculate?

hmm...now that you mention it, the only campus with a bookstore that i saw was pritzker, and that's because it shares the undergrad campus...

As I am currently working on the FAFSA info for one school, I thought I'd look into Loyola as I await information from them. I thought some of you here might have some insight on my question, so that in the event I get an interview and acceptance I can be prepared to hand them all the paper work.

The question: (okay, one question with several parts)
Does Loyola require all parental information? I know most schools require parental income information but what I'm curious about is what they want in the case of divorced parents. One of the schools I interviewed at last year wanted all parental information (kind of unfair in my opinion, my parents have been separated since I was 2) even though I have never reveived financial support from one parent. I barely even see/speak to one of them. They also required info on my step parents. Do any of you know what information Loyola requires? Also do they require a listing of assets, or just income? Finally, do they have to fill out the portion of the FAFSA or are there separate forms?

Hope everyone had a relaxing holiday! Now it's time to hear about some status changes........(good ones I hope!)

I was complete for 3 months and then got a January interview so there is hope.

Hey Timmy. Isn't this whole thing nerve wrecking!!! I feel like calling tomorrow, but I already know what the answer will be! Ugh. This is far worse than a rejection. I am on hold for rereview at GW too and I am about to go bonkers!!

February, January, March? I figure if I get a call I am going to ask for the soonest date even if that means the next day. I am also going to ask whether or not I can call to see if there are any cancellations.

i interviewed for the straight-up accepted list (in january). when they called me, i got a spot for about the following week i believe. and yes, i'd probably say that you should get here as soon as possible if you got the interview (no reason not to, and it could only help you...wouldn't you hate to find out the class had filled the day before you got here and you were now going for a waitlist spot??) anyway, best of luck. 🙂
