she had a few quote-stripey wall posts, but in terms of the actual content they felt pretty lean, and since then i'm not sure i could tell you what she thinks about anyone in this game besides voting me - and even then it was with a vote she didn't care to do much with. other than that most of her posts trended toward idle commentary where i didn't see much in the way of solving intent. i don't mind a bi of banter since the atmosphere here is laid back but i gottoo much impression she's talkin just to talk.
i hate to pull the uno reverse card but - can you show me a couple posts of hers you thought were good?
Can others tell me how normal it is for Empire to just hand out village reads for single posts?
JJJ is also handing out a lot of village reads but it's a different feel. JJJ seems to be looking at someone's entire history cumulatively to come to that decision with the occasional thoroughly explained strong comment on a single post, whereas Empire is like "I like this, village read. Good observation, village read."

i still think she sounds fine. a little less directive of the thread than i am used to seeing from village!samac, but there's a bit more competition this game.

My D1 reads are terrible when I'm village and I'm giving a list because I want to be helpful and people specifically requested it. I don't have clear reasons for most of this, it's just sportyvoicetone and vibes.
just a word of advice - do't worry so much about not having good day 1 reads (very few people do). The most helpful thing you can do is make yourself obvious town by explaining your thought process as best as you possibly can. The accuracy is less important than knowing why you're thinking that stuff.

They've both been feeling normal to me. Less to go off of for Sporty but her thread entrance is exactly what I would expect. She arrived in the thread late so I'm going to hopefully have more to see from her before vote close, but there's nothing about her so far that's pinged me.
Samac is feeling like she was before I ate her in my last game, but I am not especially good at reading her and ranked her a bit lower to hedge for that.
Well, I tried not to get too gung-ho pulling content posts but here we are because I found more than I was looking for. Putting in spoiler to make life easier. Also, this isn't a Samac iso necessarily for the sake of reading her, this is just to satisfy the "low content:noise ratio" comment that I think isn't true, as well as your perspective that her reads aren't clear and her posts are just idle commentary.
Forming reads, a good deal of "I like this post, I hate that post" which is fine by me because it was/is still early in the game and fits her village meta.

Forming more reads, bringing attention to things that might generate more interactions, questioning to find lines of reasoning

TL;DR: Samac is generating a lot of content - real content, not lean white noise just to talk, not idle commentary. Might not always be saying outright "I think __ is a wolf and __ is village" but you can definitely tell where her reads lie from her reasoning and pushes, so I don't think you're correct in saying you wouldn't be able to figure out where her suspicions lie. Just from this handful of posts, I can tell that she's wolf reading true and you, feels fine about AM, JJJ, PSV, and genny, and santy is a question mark.
Content generation doesn't automatically mean she's village because wolves sure can generate content too, but I don't think low signal:noise ratio is accurate, nor do I think it's accurate to say she's not generating reads.

His tone has been helpful/clear and he's been willing to stick his neck out a bit to generate data and increase interactions. I usually find that pro-village, especially on D1.

No one currently feels clearly wolfy to me other than our lovely moderators. People at the bottom are just people I feel least good about at the moment.

Oh, I fully agree. I felt much more village to myself during my wolf game. Head's not in it right now, and I'm getting increasingly worried that I'm going to blow my good record because of it.

Looking forward to ye olde Nate ISO, but I generally approve of not voting for Samac right now. She's a very strong villager and there just isn't enough evidence that she's wolfing for a day one yeet to feel reasonable to me.
And it's not like her flip would be particularly clearing for other folks at this point.

Closest player to a proper “mafia read” would be Nate. Truenamer and Clem exist near to that in a sort of “null” space that becomes suspicious by default when most others seem town.
