I hope this is correct, rules and new sites confuse me
It is. Just make sure the vote is either bolded or surrounded by octothorpes, and it should be on its own line.

Welcome! Just for reference for the rest of us, how much Mafia/WW experience do you have?

Is there an easy way to iso here?

I own Jay's soul on the syndicate, time to find out if that translates without the crutch of having mac and/or sloon in the game with him
You legitimately did the last game or two, but if this is your town approach to me then it seems what you actually do is read Jay wolf every game

I've also townread you when you're town lol

Is this like how I have a 100% read rate for AM by just always thinking she's village and getting lucky?

Not in a long while. If you're town right now then you forgot what it looks like.
I mean, we haven't been t/t in awhile, but my history of reading you correctly goes back quite a ways lol

I am actually the complete opposite of my last two dead-inside mafia games, so I think Nanook is either trolling me or just mafia. So that'll work.

There's no way he really thinks I look the same.

I didn't say yoh look the same

Hey alexa insert a link to Jay's iso
Jokes aside, does his bombastic thread entrance and early iso compilation match his wolf meta? It's really hard for me to get a sense of whether or not this is powervillaging or powerwolfing (which is the point, of course)

Not the point if he’s village!

Jokes aside I do think he's mafia, my confidence is lower than it would be if this were a syndicate game because it could be explained by him playing on a new site

Folks can decide for themselves about me:

Mafia - Halvosen Ridge
Mafia - Kid's Birthday Party

Town - Highway Heist
Town - Date Night Mafia

I don't actually encourage someone spending hours of their time digging through these, but if you want to take a glimpse, go for it. There are certainly common themes in my play between the alignments -- as town, I try to build a cohesive town front that overwhelms mafia by POE. As mafia, I try to mimic that approach but with reads more favorable to my team.

There are differences too, and I will leave others to decide on those for themselves. As for this specific game, the key difference is enthusiasm. I am playing this game like a kid at a candy store, with a ton of exclamation marks and silly remarks and energy. There are two primary reasons:

1) I'm finally town. I've wanted a town role in each of my last two games, because watching towns struggle in champs always makes me want to test my mettle and right the ship. I rolled mafia in both. I don't play that much anymore, so those games elapsed a few months. It feels good to finally be able to solve a dang game again.

2) I'm in a new place! I don't know most of the players in this game at all, and I am really excited to experience the SDN brand of the game and see how the gang here plays the game. Perhaps I am extra polite on that front, because it's rude to walk into someone else's house and just be a big stick in the mud. But I'm stoked!

That's fine. Raise your eyebrow, Empire!

In my previous mafia game (Kid's Birthday Party), Nanook did legitimately catch on quickly. I believe he did the same a few mafia games ago as well. So I thought he actually had something on me lol.

That no longer seems apparent if this is a real read.

Being that aware of your wolf vs village meta makes it all harder to discern with those blurred lines.
But I can feel the wolf fatigue thing and I really really hope it’s option 1.

Do you feel you have any read that you are proud as if , 'as mafia I wouldnt do that' so far?

That's hard to say. Everything is very contextualized game-to-game. I think there's a good chance that as mafia I wouldn't have declared four town reads already. I'd be "trying", but progress would be slower. Perhaps I'd have let samac go instead of pegging them green. This game has been pretty slow-moving by the standards I am accustomed to, so it would be simpler to justify being a slowpoke about building my fake town pile. I'd also be looking for excuses to shove my teammates into the green pile (see: Halvosen Ridge). That's an educated guess, I dunno really.

But, no slowpoke needed. Indeed, I'm in a huge hurry. Let's go! More town reads! I want so many that for me to be mafia would be throwing the game! Weeeee!

I mean I did say it isn't high confidence, but

Your energy thing is not really the tell you think it is btw

Or, perhaps more accurately, its not the external tell you think it is, at least for me
