Congratz! When did u have ur interview and where did u get accepted to (Harlem or Middletown)?accepted. holler. 3.39 GPA / 3.31 SGPA / 31 MCAT (12/10/9)
II this morning. Was complete November 20th. Any recommendations for a place to stay overnight?
Hi everybody, I sent in my secondary around November 18th and they still haven't taken my fee out. Also I never received any notification as to whether or not I was complete. How long did it take for you all. I gave them the credit card form as my method of payment. Any info would be appreciated.
I called yesterday and was told that they are currently backed up due to the holidays. By next week, they're hoping to gain some ground in processing secondary apps. In other words, we just have to wait.
I was notified about two weeks after my secondary was sent that my supplemental app was received and complete. Thanks, That takes a load off. I'm glad I checked in here first before calling🙂

I sent all my stuff in on October 10th and never got a complete email.
Edit: Actually looking back, I got confirmation of the supplemental being received but not a "complete" email. I got an email October 18th stating they were waiting on my LORs which, again, were sent to them October 10th. Is that equivalent to a complete email?
Congratualtions and Good Luck🙂 Thanks for the info as well...Just got my II today for Dec 9th. Super excited for this one, its one of my top choices. I was complete, the second week of november.
I would call and make sure they received your LORs. There is a lot of work on the admissions department because they're working for the Harlem and Middletown campuses, and they were saying that they're swamped with applications. I called them more than a month after my secondary and LORs were submitted, but they still hadn't downloaded my LORs, so my application was still considered incomplete. By the end of the week I had an II.I sent all my stuff in on October 10th and never got a complete email.

Hey guys, just wondering how many people are going to the Middletown site? Seems like a majority selected Harlem. Any risk of the site not being finished on time?
Is the deposit refundable? Sorry if this was mentioned before.
Deposit is not refundable I believe, but it does go to your tuition if you matriculate there . Best to double check anyways thoughIs the deposit refundable? Sorry if this was mentioned before.
Did they send you an email letting you know you are wait-listed? I was interviewed last Monday and the wait is killing me >:*(!Sorry if this was mentioned before, but does anyone know the chances of getting accepted off the waitlist?
no word yet for me. i interviewed last monday 12/2 in the afternoon. mr ruiz said we'd wait back in 2-3 weeks. however, people last year (and this year too i think) heard back in 6-7 days. i'm eager to hear back because if i am accepted, i want to cancel some upcoming interviews in january and give the schools maximum time to fill up the interview slots with applicants who would love to attend those schools.
Any recommendations on places to stay for the interview? Aloft Harlem is so expensive! Also, any advice on how to get to Harlem from Newark Airport? Thanks!
From newark airport you can take a bus called the Newark Airport Express into Midtown Manhattan for $13 (takes 45-60 mins) and then take the subway to Harlem the 2,3 or A trains)
Heres the bus schedule: http://www.coachusa.com/olympia/ss.details.asp?action=Lookup&c1=Newark Liberty Airport&s1=NJ&c2=New York&s2=NY&resultId=17572&order=&dayFilter=&scheduleChoice=&sitePageName=/olympia/index.asp&cbid=286965943899
I would take the Airtrain to Jamaica and then the MTA to Touro. It takes around an hr for the whole tripHow about from JFK airport to Midtown? What is the best to way to get there?
thank you!P.S. Download HopStop its an app and it will tell you how
Is the interview site near the 125th St building? If so people from NY that live in Westchester and Dutchess county can just take the metronorth commuter trains and walk a few blocks from 125th St. Station.
there are 2 more in manhattan*It's right around the corner, btwn 124th and 125th on adam clayton blvd. There's a white castle (i think the only one in nyc) next door.
lol thank you. your post prompted me to do a search and i've now learned that i live within spitting distance of a white castle.there are 2 more in manhattan*
That's not what I was suggesting in my post. If you are complete for over a month and are competitive at Touro-NY (be honest with yourself), but haven't heard anything from the school, it may be worth calling to make sure they received/downloaded your LORs. Of course not everyone should do this and being competitive does not guarantee an interview, but I don't think it is unreasonable to call and check after 4-6 weeks have passed, especially at this point in the application cycle.I don't know if we should be encouraging every applicant to call and double check if their recommendations have been downloaded... seems like we might just slow them down even more.
😱

Any interview invites this week yet?
I can only hope. This is taking forever... Complete in early October....Any interview invites this week yet?
Just to let you guys know - when I was at the interview, I asked a question regarding how many people they interview and how many people they accept. The director said they get over 6000 applications, they interview 900, and accept 140 or so to each campus.
Finally - can somebody figure out how they accept multiple MCAT scores? Do they take the last score? The highest score? Or the highest score from each section?
