Nah letās not emailI meant I'm not emailing š anyone else want to sacrifice themselves?
Time for wraps up Iām ballingI spoke with someone from admissions earlier today (I believe her name was Lucille) to ask for an update at the LI campus and they said interviews concluded on 4/30 and if anyone hears back it'll probably be for the waitlist as the class is almost full. The way she spoke made it seem like any more waitlists were unlikely and that if you didn't hear back yet then it's a rejection at this point. Also, she mentioned that an email will be sent out at the end of May for the remainder of applicants with instructions for reapplication. They've definitely moved on to the next cycle and it seems like it's time for us to as well š
Yes a coupleRemind me... did anyone here say they were moved off the waitlist yet?
Really? Do you remember around when?Yes a couple
Like beginning of the year somewhereReally? Do you remember around when?
I interviewed Oct and got waitlistedBased on my reading of the thread back in January, I think those acceptances were people who interviewed before January and were given direct acceptances. I do not think they were waitlisted first.
I agree with @_CaptainKaladin_. For the Long Island campus, I have not seen anyone on the waitlist get off yet for this cycle. On a separate note, I have not seen anyone who interviewed in January or later receive a direct acceptance. I know SDN is only a small portion of the applicant pool but that should give some hope. And based on previous threads, NYITCOM usually sends an email around this time of year to ask waitlisted applicants if they would like to stay on the waitlist or be removed. And then waitlist movement seems to begin shortly after that email is sent--at least for the SDN posters. My guess is that they will send a similar email like this sometime in May, maybe even this week or next.
