The likely answer is that the application portal is closed due to the next cycle starting. While it is not ideal to no longer view our own apps, I am assuming the school still has access to all our files, especially for those of us on WL status.

Didn't mean to scare anyone bringing it up, just wanted to know if it was an individual problem (whew) or a systematic one, which it being the latter, I am sure was done on purpose and we shouldn't sent a barrage of calls/emails about it.

That said, I'm personally seeing it as the "writing on the wall" that they are pretty much wrapping things up or are done for the season, and not really getting my hopes up at this point. But obviously hoping for the best for everyone.

I spoke with someone from admissions earlier today (I believe her name was Lucille) to ask for an update at the LI campus and they said interviews concluded on 4/30 and if anyone hears back it'll probably be for the waitlist as the class is almost full. The way she spoke made it seem like any more waitlists were unlikely and that if you didn't hear back yet then it's a rejection at this point. Also, she mentioned that an email will be sent out at the end of May for the remainder of applicants with instructions for reapplication. They've definitely moved on to the next cycle and it seems like it's time for us to as well šŸ™

Time for wraps up I’m balling

I see a lot of panic here, I’d suggest checking out last years thread. I believe the same thing was going on. No WL movement last year until May 15th, and you will get an email when movement starts.

It doesn’t look like you guys have had the WL movement start yet. When it starts, it comes it batches. Lots of people will be dropping As here for other schools unless this year goes different than my year. It’s just a waiting game at this point y’all. I wouldn’t give up hope until July. The waiting sucks but hopefully it works out for y’all.

It would be so crazy for them to have continued interviews into April for waitlist positions that they never intended to ever pull from in the first place. People will be accepted off the waitlist, give it time just like last year and the years before.

Based on my reading of the thread back in January, I think those acceptances were people who interviewed before January and were given direct acceptances. I do not think they were waitlisted first.

I agree with @_CaptainKaladin_. For the Long Island campus, I have not seen anyone on the waitlist get off yet for this cycle. On a separate note, I have not seen anyone who interviewed in January or later receive a direct acceptance. I know SDN is only a small portion of the applicant pool but that should give some hope. And based on previous threads, NYITCOM usually sends an email around this time of year to ask waitlisted applicants if they would like to stay on the waitlist or be removed. And then waitlist movement seems to begin shortly after that email is sent--at least for the SDN posters. My guess is that they will send a similar email like this sometime in May, maybe even this week or next.
