is the IS and OOS waitlist the same one?
 
OOS alternate, but will remove myself from the waitlist bc I have other acceptances I'd sooner take!

Has anyone joined the FB group even tho you aren't sure if you're going to accept a spot? I'm still waiting to hear from some schools!
 
I ended up on the OOS waitlist for Tufts, but I got into my IS school. So, I'm removing myself from the waitlist. Good luck to anyone currently on the OOS waitlist. I hope all of you manage to get into a veterinary school this cycle.

Are there any current students willing to share some insight on how they’re doing and some pros and cons about the school?
 
Was anyone on the waitlist able to reach the admissions office on Friday? I tried to call for more info but couldnt get through.
 
Congratulations to everyone who got in and good luck to the folks on the waitlist! I’m planning to apply to Tufts in this upcoming cycle and was trying to find the past essay topics (though I know they are subject to change) without any luck. Can someone share what the supplemental essay(s) prompt?

Tufts University:
Prompt: What is your passion outside of veterinary medicine? Tell us about a topic or idea that excites you. How does this passion speak to who you are? (Please do not use an animal, veterinary, or science theme.)
 
There was also a "Why Tufts" supplemental (100 word limit IIRC, so more of a paragraph than a full essay)
 
I'll (hopefully) be at the second in-person one. Still need to arrange some things but will ideally be there
 
Does Tufts not extend admitted students day to alternates?
 
Does anyone know if a groupme has been made for our class?
 
Last year an accepted student made a groupme for other accepted students. Once the school year began our class council took over admin to send class announcements through the GroupMe. Highly recommend someone make one to get to know your classmates! Congrats everyone!
 
I would def be interested in a GroupMe!! Also does anyone know if Tufts sends any kind of acceptance packet by mail?
 
Has anyone received any financial aid offers yet?
 
How long after April 15th do we think we will hear the results of the waitlist??
