I was just wondering do we have to send our fall transcripts? and if we do when is the deadline?
 
Chatter- yes we do have to send them, and they said ASAP. Especially if you end up on the interview waiting list, it'll help them to have them.

New Englander here (adjoining state), mail just arrived... nothing from Tufts.

Yeah, I live about an hour away from Tufts (IS) so I'm guessing that's why I got it so early. Also, I think I have one of the earliest interviews for February, so they may just be mailing them out in chunks and in order of interview date. Mine was post marked yesterday, so I think most are still in the mail. Good luck everyone! I bet tomorrow is when most everyone else will start getting them!
 
Congratulations everyone! I'm jumping on the interview boat as well! I also live just outside of Boston, and received my letter yesterday.

My interview date is Feb 2nd at 10am. Will I be seeing any other SDNers there? I'll probably be driving, and I come from out by the airport so I'd be happy to give someone a lift if they need one 🙂
 
I live in Baltimore, MD and got my invite in the mail today. Feb 8th at 1pm!

Just got an interview invite in the mail today for an interview 2/8. I'm OOS (NY). 😀 In case anyone is wondering, just a regular sized envelope that is thin (1 page letter).
 
My mailperson sometimes randomly doesn't deliver mail on Saturdays. Also, it generally comes in the morning and it is THREE PM now. Why must they torment me so!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I got the mail today and there was a ridiculus amount of envelopes - mainly bills and none with good news. But I did get a loan statement with $400 capitalized on my +$35,000 loans. :scared: WAHOO! I was sooooo disappointed :wtf:

But good luck OOS-ers! You give me hope for Monday!! (Although I'm beginning to wish I could shut off my hope switch in my brain. It would cut my anxiety waaay down....)

I have an interview on Feb 2 as well! Mine is at 2:30. I live in Boston so I got the invitation on Friday. I just joined SDN but I've been reading everyone's posts for a while, GOOD LUCK to all of us!:xf:
 
No mail today. I live in an adjoining state. Not hopeful. Why don't they post this stuff in the portal a la Colorado State, so we don't have to agonize? :scared:

Have people who have gotten invites received their letter at their mailing address listed or permanent address? I just realized that I listed my mailing address as at school and I'm not going back for another week!! The wait is bad enough as it is so I hope they haven't sent it there.. Though at least that would mean there's still hope:xf:

I received it at the mailing address I had listed. Hopefully there's one waiting for you! Or you could always call and ask if you're really anxious, they're so friendly.
 
I got an interview for 2/3 at 11:30, (in the mail today and i live in jersey) which is the same day and time as the Edinburgh Open House in NYC. Does anyone know if Tufts is OK with rescheduling? I gotta wait til monday until I can call the office anyway.
 
Yeah they'll reschedule, or at least I think they do, just give them a call they're extremely nice! I know someone was saying they have a list of people wishing to switch days or something and will try to work things out?

Unfortunately, I can't help you out much there. My mailing and permanent addresses are the same (non-traditional applicant, live on my own)

So, before reading this, I had assumed that I listed my mailing address as my permanent one. Then I checked VMCAS. *sigh* Well, you know what they say about assuming..... I'm not going back to school for classes until the end of the month. Guess I'm going to be making a trip up there soon for mail checks....

Can anyone keep me posted about when they receive letters? I'm OOS Penn res and I may not even receive a letter (if I'm being realistic), but I'm going to see if I can find someone to check my mail at school. I just don't want to drive them crazy with mail calls all the time.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS SO...I can't even think of a bad enough adjective...

Just wanted to remind everyone that Tufts didn't use the VMCAS app, so you should check their online application to see which address you put, before worrying more. Just in case you put something different on vmcas than you did on Tufts (I think I did).

Ok back to worrying and wondering when/if my interview invite will come.

Thanks, RaiderTXgirl - I'll try not to hit myself too hard 😉 Thanks for the reminder, Tonkamoo! 😍 Now I can only hope that my imaginary interview invite (or rejection letter) makes it to me now that I changed my address to my home. Or, maybe my school will lose it when it forwards said-nonexistent envelope while I'm on break 😀 :xf:

ya, you can check which address you put by checking the odd application management system page thing that they sent the user name and password for a while ago (I wish they would tell you if they sent you an interview invite on this!), I just wish I knew they'd send their invites via snail mail during the one month I'm at home! oh well, I guess I can wait a week :scared:

you don't have to reply to anything in the letter, right?
 
Nah I guess they just expect us to call if there's a problem or we reject the invitation to interview....

I'm just wondering the OOS'ers that got interview. Where r u guys located? I am in Florida and praying to God that the mail takes longer to get down here :/
 
I got mine today in New York, but it was forwarded from my school in New England so that probably made it take a little longer.
 
I am in PA (Phila) and I am counting the minutes until I can leave work, hop on my train, and get home and check my mail! The waiting game gets harder when you know its coming😛

I had been making my boyfriend check the mail every hour, since the clinic is slow on Mondays and I'm usually able to get online and prod him. When he told me I got a letter from Tufts I made him open it IMMEDIATELY. :laugh:

I got mine today, and I'm in Sunnyvale, California. Now I think I'm ten times more nervous than I was while waiting for the mail!

So what do people wear to interviews? I have nerve damage in my feet, but I'd rather not be blatantly obvious about a minor disability. Can women do all right with flats? ...oh I'm being stupid, aren't I? It'll be February.
 
If we don't receive anything in the next day or so, is that pretty much it, or do they send anything else out?

When I spoke to the admissions office last week, they said they were sending out interview invites, interview wait-list & rejection notices...so it sounds like this is it!
 
It seems like if we don't get one this week or the next few days then it's not good news 🙁

Plus or minus a day is probably not significant. Don't despair! Also, if Niteangel is right, you'd receive something no matter what -- interview, interview-wait-list, or rejection. You haven't gotten one of those other two, so that's good!

Tufts is VERY relaxed. They are very open about saying "wear something comfortable!" for tours and most of the day, but I would say everyone wore a suit for last year for the interview. I did see a few people in casual pants and a sweater for the tour. I wore my suit pants and top, and comfy shoes, and changed into my suit jacket and heels just before my interview. The tour DOES involve a lot of walking, much of it outside in Feb in New England, so be prepared to be really cold, and definitely bring shoes you can walk in!

No problem! I have a pair of black flats that I can shove in my purse if I need to, which is great. Plus I drove myself last year, so I could just chuck stuff in the car, and I just left my suit jacket hanging up in the car until I needed it.
I'm STOKED to interview again this year - last year I was an alternate after my interview, which absolutely crushed my soul because I loved it there, and I'm looking forward to going back this year!
 
I'm down in FL and today my friend said she got an interview. I was freaking out because I had just checked my mail and I didn't have a letter, but it turns out she was emailed her invite because she applied for the joint PhD program. Still waiting for the mail to make it down to FL, Hurry up mail guys! lol I can't take this waiting...

Sigh...this is not a good feeling right now. I'll keep my :xf: for those who haven't heard (including myself). Don't give up hope until the not-so-good rejection letter appears in your mailbox! (At least that's what I'm trying to do....:cry🙂

Rushed home and found no letter in my mailbox 🙁

I am hoping this is not a bad sign...my husband is telling me to give it one more day...so we shall see what tomorrow brings! Trying to remain optimistic🙂

And if I have not said it yet, Congrats to all that have gotten interviews so far!😀

Maybe the Philadelphia area is just bad at delivering mail -- I'm south of Philly in PA. Right? That could happen. 🙄

I'm Philly too and I didn't get a letter yet either. Last yr they sent out interview invites and rejection letters right around the same time. Although I don't expect an interview invite this yr either, it should be noted that my street was never plowed and now there is a really thick layer of snow and ice on it. Oh yeah, and the fact that I almost killed myself on the sidewalk this morning probably explains the lack of mail for the past 4 days!! With the snowstorm coming tomorrow night, I don't really expect mail delivery any time soon.
I love snow, I think its really pretty, but its so disruptive!
