This is probably a stupid question but. If we haven’t filled out the FAFSA already and were on the waitlist, should I go ahead and still fill it out? Thanks!

For anyone rejected, I emailed admissions and they’re doing file reviews. They offered me times for next week.

Waitlists can always vary on how much they move. Two years ago it barely moved. Last year I was 27/61 on the IS waitlist and I made it in. Don't give up hope if you are on the waitlist!

Is there a waitlist for Is and OOS, or is everyone all on the same list?

That’s good news. Also, do you know if those that are on the waitlist will be moved to acceptance before April 15th if some people give up their seat? Or do those on the waitlist stay on it until after April 15th? Thank you! 😊

If someone gives up their seat say today, the waitlist will already begin to move 🙂 depending on how many decline their spots the waitlist has the potential of moving all the way up until the 1st day of classes

Yes separate and looks like we won’t really know the numbers til April. Hoping some of us get good news before then!
 
YALL it's been the longest day and it killed me watching SDN and updating my portal while working my seasonal job at the zoo during the seasonal break camps. Luckily I had scheduled literally the longest playground break ever (which ofc the kids loved anyways) and snack right afterwards so I was able to keep track for like an hour but after that, it was torture until lunch. And then seeing that I got waitlisted towards the end of all of this and having to keep up the energy and supervision for the kids was a such a killer combo on the inside.

But thank you to everyone who updated on here and sent the office emails!
 
So last year I think out of state wait-list got to around 40 or so? And in state moved to 30? Lots of movement will happen between now and April 15th, as people make determinations about where they want to go. I know last year was slightly different given the rolling admissions, but I was number 23 on the oos wait-list and I got called 5 days after the acceptance deadline. There was so much movement in the span of 5 days, so definitely take a step back and take a breather, but know you very much still have a chance to get in. Wait-list doesn't mean you are any less of a good candidate, it just means they can't offer spots to everyone who deserves one. You are more than enough. Congratulations to all who got in! And I look forward to seeing you possibly next year!!

Also for those of us waitlisted, it's also worth noting (on a hopefully happy and good note) that VAMD, Wisconsin, and Tufts decisions all came out today per the APVMA FB page! UF also came out yesterday. Hopefully this means that the waitlist starts to move!
 
Does anyone know when we will receive the official invite to the accepted student day? I would love to visit with my partner before making a decision!
 
Besides the academic calendar does the vet school follow the university of arizona holiday calendar?

I believe we follow the same calendar for holidays, but we don't have the same time off for like the week long breaks? Just because we run all year around. I could be incorrect on that one. I don't know the UofA main campus break times.
