Seconding this questionAny tips for the Davis interview?
They're not getting back to interviewees until early April as I understood itI interviewed for the UCSD post bacc on March 5th and haven't heard back, has anyone else?
Right on - congrats!!Just heard back today from UCD regarding second interview in early April!
Also, is the 2nd interview with faculty?Just heard back today from UCD regarding second interview in early April!
Right on - congrats!!
Any tips for interviewing with UCD?
Aside from know your basic interview questions (your background, experience, goals, etc.), honestly be yourself. It's as much you interviewing them as it is them interviewing you. Both parties are trying to see if the program is a good fit. Have questions, know your own story, think of it as a conversation vs. a job interview lol. Hope that helps!Any tips for the Davis interview?

Hahaha thanks! But I think this is different than the consortium — I asked them and they said they are still filtering until 3/24.Oh hey, I made that! haha
I got an email this past Wednesday from UCI about scheduling an interview for next week. They've yet to confirm the date, but they sent over dates and times. Hoping for the best!
hi, can you tell us what they mean in terms of filtering? does it mean that they're going to send out II's after they've filtered out applicants? Sorry by "them," is it the overall consortium or just uci?Hahaha thanks! But I think this is different than the consortium — I asked them and they said they are still filtering until 3/24.
Correct. I believe they will send out IIs after the filter. Only UCI. Also, anyone know anything about UCLA?hi, can you tell us what they mean in terms of filtering? does it mean that they're going to send out II's after they've filtered out applicants? UCLA has rolling applications and when I talked to a counselor from UCLA back in like September she basically said if you apply your in. Not sure if that helps with timing.Correct. I believe they will send out IIs after the filter. Only UCI. Also, anyone know anything about UCLA?
Thanks for the information. What UCLA Post- Bacc?UCLA has rolling applications and when I talked to a counselor from UCLA back in like September she basically said if you apply your in. Not sure if that helps with timing.
Also, what do you mean by IIs? They emailed me with interview times for the UCI pre med post bacc for Wednesday.
Yeah, I think this might be for the other UCI post-bacc. program and not the one through the UC Postbaccalaureate Consortium.UCLA has rolling applications and when I talked to a counselor from UCLA back in like September she basically said if you apply your in. Not sure if that helps with timing.

Not sure if you're in the GroupMe I made a few posts back on this thread, but somebody in the group said that UCLA RAP told them they're not sending out invites until after their May deadlineCorrect. I believe they will send out IIs after the filter. Only UCI. Also, anyone know anything about UCLA?
Oh! Thank you! I will add myself into the group me!Yeah, I think this might be for the other UCI post-bacc. program and not the one through the UC Postbaccalaureate Consortium.

UCLA has several premedical programs (SHPEP, PREP, RAP) like Myguy1995 said. All three programs seem competitive to me. . . I was in UCLA SHPEP and the acceptance rate was around 7%? It might be easier to take classes for a DIY postbacc in the UCLA extension though, if that's what you mean. For UCLA, only RAP is in the consortium. The consortium mainly focuses on academic enhancers (not career changers), correct me if I'm wrong.UCLA has rolling applications and when I talked to a counselor from UCLA back in like September she basically said if you apply your in. do you mean when the app gets marked "complete"? If so, you'd get an email after they have received all of your supplementary materials (transcripts, lors, etc). hope that helps!Hi guys congrats to all that have already had interviews! I have been reading up on your guys thread and I noticed that you guys speak about a verification this is my first time applying where would I see if my application has been verified. Ex is it an email?
Can I be added please?

I just got an invitation to schedule an interview with them today!has anyone here heard from UCI?
Congrats!!! Do you mind me asking when you app was verified?I just got an invitation to schedule an interview with them today!
I was verified at the end of February!Congrats!!! Do you mind me asking when you app was verified?
I believe it. I think most UC Consortium applicants are first-time applicants (based on previous cycle threads), so they don't meet the criteria for UCLA. Furthermore, UCLA's class photos have been consistently at 5 students for the last 2 years. My guess, if you have a goal of helping the underserved community without relying on the overused umbrella phrase "helping the underserved community", but rather focusing on specific issues plaguing underserved communities, you're good to go.UCLA has rolling applications and when I talked to a counselor from UCLA back in like September she basically said if you apply your in. Not sure about rejections, do we even get notified if we're rejected? It's my understanding that all the schools except UCLA are still sending out primary and secondary interviews!has anyone else heard back from uci today? do the rejections usually come in batches?
They do email the rejections out. I know someone who applied late feb and got the rejection yesterday, thanking them for applying : (. I applied by late Jan and still haven’t heard any news. . . That’s good that they’re still sending out interview invites! Have you been checking in with them lately? Not sure about rejections, do we even get notified if we're rejected?
