Personal Statement
I did not use any specific situational example, but I discussed how my interest in veterinary medicine developed through my undergrad and work-related experiences and how all of my experiences (veterinary and non-veterinary related) have contributed to my preparation for the DVM program. I talked about my fascination with medicine and why I chose veterinary medicine over human medicine. I also discussed my current goals with a DVM degree, my understanding of my options, and how I am nonetheless keeping the door open to other options as I move through the professional program. I made sure to use direct statements asserting stuff about myself with evidence to back it up.
So that was basically my application - I acknowledge that I applied as a junior and am very fortunate to be able to head to veterinary school next Fall!
