has anyone gotten confirmation that snapshot/caspr has been received?
I don’t think they send a separate email about receiving the caspr/snapshot. I did get an email about my application being complete though and under review. Hopefully that helps.

which quartile did you score in on your casper test?

I scored in the second quartile but my app was completed a couple weeks before yours so I guess I'm not getting an interview
I still wouldn't stress. They are not done sending interviews I bet as it is still early on in the whole process. I don't think casper is the only thing that is looked at or what would keep you from receiving an interview!

This is not realistic

I'm not sure in what order they look at applications. I don't think #s is the main contributor to getting an interview(I'm not saying it is not important). They look at other stuff in your application as well. Just hold on; I didn't think I was going to get an interview with them because of the 15 on Gen Chem. It's not December yet, there is still time to get an interview.

Casper may hold some weight, but definitely not significant enough to hold you back from receiving an interview

so u just completed ur app and got an interview?

Yeah I ran into some delays in getting my LORs so I didn't submit any apps until the beginning of this month
Congrats! I'm in state and my app was completed mid September. I had similar stats too, 23AA and a 3.6 sGPA. I have yet to hear back from UofL so your post makes me really nervous since you heard back so fast.

Thank you!! I'm honestly shocked given the quick turnaround of my application - I wasn't expecting any pre-December interviews, much less one within the same month I applied for one of my top choices. I'm sure yours will come soon!!! 🤞

Will they send out interviews to people who haven’t completed CASPER yet?

Does anyone know what percent of interviewed applicants get accepted

Does anyone know what percent of interviewed applicants get accepted
#'s from their FAQs suggest roughly 400 interviews take place and 120 students are accepted (30% IS / 70% OOS), coming out to 30% of interviewed applicants are accepted. Not sure if anyone has more specific #'s from the program, but that's what I put together (surface level) from FAQs — School of Dentistry

They definitely offer a spot to more than 120 students though. I'd probably guess that around 45-50% of interviewed applicants are accepted.

Mm, that's a really good point and something I didn't think through when I was pulling those numbers, so this should be more representative -

In the ADEA Official Guide for 2021, Louisville reported a total of 299 offers made (51 IS / 245 OOS / 3 Int'l) for an entrance class of 116 seats in Fall '20. They didn't report how many interviews they had, so if we maintain that they had ~400, we can probably say that percentage is closer to 75%. Much better than the 30% I threw out before 😂

Here are those numbers incase anyone is curious:

Total Applicants: 2045

In-state Applicants:
Total: 115
Offers Made: 51

Out-of-state Applicants:
Total: 1868
Offers Made: 245

Int'l Applicants:
Total: 62
Offers Made: 3

Would you mind checking the stats for the University of Kentucky? I don't have the ADEA guide and am curious!

This is just the percentage for the Whole cycle and not really representative of pre- and post-December chances.
At this point if you interviewed no amount of percentage crunching is going to help you..... just sit back and have a drink (or 12 lol), and enjoy the time before December. obviously the chances are greater pre-december.
