Does anyone have anything other than “sent” as the status for their letter of recommendations?
Also, has anyone without a car registration heard of any alternatives? I read that you can have a “statement in lieu of the documentation” but that “a statement does not guarantee that the requirement will be waived.” Worried about that.

It's probably for verifying Utah residency or something along those lines I'm assuming.

How fast do we think the class will fill up after they send out and review Kira talent videos? I have one recommender who already sent in the LOR, but the other one is being slow to respond (they generally are, but they're also reliable with sending LORs).

Who knows. But they haven’t sent out the Kira videos yet anyway. So it’s just a waiting game right now. I think less than a week after they have received all our applications materials

Not yet but you need your LOR submitted before they will send it.

Haven't received anything yet but also my last LOR went in 3/31 so my app was completed on the 31st, so not expecting anything till next week. I was really hoping for this week though since I'm going on an international trip on Wed but it just sounds like I'll be bringing my professional clothing lol

I didn’t even bother applying bc my LOR writers basically told me they’d need time to adjust my letters (I’ve since been published and had some other stuff for them to add to my ****) and they were like we won’t have enough time blah blah. Sucks but I assumed I’d have little shot w do little oos seats anyway. Best of luck to everyone!!

I was entering my experiences today and it looks like the application maxes out at 30. I have quite a few more. I sent an email to Ryan, but I assume he won't answer until tomorrow. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Yeah I was bummed to have to stop entering but luckily put my most important/most recent ones first. Didn't email them about it. Had many more and the hours were still low on a couple even though they upped the limit too.

I just started copying them over from VMCAS and unfortunately, I started with my earliest experiences first. I have like 20 more to add. I am hoping I can just email over a copy of the experiences from ym VMCAS application. It is annoying though because I would like to move on to teh supplemental.

I’m not sure you will be able to email anything. I would delete your oldest and least relevant experiences and make sure your most important and valuable ones are there

I believe that they get a link through the portal in a email when we add them in as recommenders. This is just an educated guess though

After you submit the initial application, the supplemental has a portion to enter recommenders. It sends them a link.

I got my last thing, my LOR, submitted on March 27, received the Kira on April 4, and reached out to them on April 1. I’m not sure if reaching out sped up the process but seems like it since nobody else is commenting about it

• The School of Graduate Studies application is fully submitted, including letters of recommendation.
• The application has been processed by the appropriate entities.

Please keep in mind that processing times vary from application to application. We are working diligently to ensure that everything is processed as efficiently as possible.

(I had also mentioned in my previous email that it seems like only one person had received their link and that nobody else has, even those who submitted the same day, and there was no specific comment on it. I emailed them yesterday and they responded with saying my application is still being processed and that’s why Kira hasn’t been sent yet. The processing time takes a while so I think everyone is kinda in the same boat

I think its just taking them time to go through everyone. I applied on the 26th got the Kira talent link on the 31st and submitted it on the 1st. I'm instate and my LOR submitted the letters within seconds of me inputting their info, I don't know if it matters but thats what I know.

I’m sure they received many more applications than they originally anticipated. I see the article says over 100 in the first week so I’m sure it’s just taking time for them to peel through it all
