There doesn't appear to be any type of essays or really much of an opportunity to say anything about yourself. I am curious if that will be part of the Kira or if they will contact for that info at a later date once the initial processing is complete.
 
I’m so frustrated as I’ve had to rewrite my final 10 experiences 4 times now because the sight crashes when I try to submit.

I screen shotted this from their website. After Kira (essay portion) there’s another situational judgement test it seems like

My LOR just submitted today after a bunch of computer troubles. I was in contact with admissions the whole time about it. It took 3 days to resolve the problem. Hopefully it's not too late.

I was in contact with them today and it is NOT! Too late!! They actually responded to my email scarily fast I think they must have a template email for the issues going on with the website/ application.

This was literally me when I had to continuously rewrite everything. I just got really paranoid and started saving like every minute
 
Just finished my Kira videos. It was pretty good and not too stressful even with time limits. I definitely wanted to talk more but had to cut my statements short. Good luck to you all!
 
Is the Kira the same as it was for other schools? Don’t need anyone to share content just wondering the structure? Like video vs typing questions

It had video questions and one (short) essay

Agreed, I think for me it was the short essay response. Having that short amount of words to cover what is basically a 2-part question was stressful, and I didn't feel confident in it unfortunately. But I also agree that the time limits were definitely not an issue!
 
Feeling thankful that I defaulted to using my mentor DVM and my academic advisor for LORs bc I just actually read the fine print of the admissions page that says the two LORs have to be from a DVM and a professor or academic advisor. I completely blanked on checking this beforehand. This whole cycle has taken such a toll on me lol I just wanted to get it in asap😭😭
 
Did the Kira Talent just come via an email from Utah State? My LOR just submitted Wednesday, but I want to know what to expect when receiving it.

I also agree with this. I think they might even send them out after Easter since most of the waitlist movement will take place this week

Has your link come yet? I had my LORs in by Tuesday and I haven't gotten anything. I tried to call yesterday and no one picked up.
 
Feeling really mad and discouraged. My recommender who PROMISED me he would have my letter in still hasn’t submitted it with 2 reminder emails sent and one email after asking if he even received the portal invite. My other had it in day off. I wouldn’t have spent the money and time applying if he was going to ghost me like this. Discouraged, frustrated, and tbh just pissed off

Aw I’m sorry about that ): It looks like they’re still reviewing apps so maybe you can ask someone else to write one in a pinch? Just explain the urgency! You got this

I'm in the same exact situation if that makes you feel any better. Fingers crossed that both of our letters get submitted soon 🤞

Not that I know of, but I just submitted my Kira assessment. I know that I probably did not look at the camera as much as I should have. I always feel so awkward talking to my computer. Hopefully, decisions start to roll in soon!
