VCU Shadowing Requirement

I didn't realized that they required 100-150 hours of shadowing with a general dentist. I have slightly over 100 shadowing hours, but only 60 of them are with general dentists. Does anyone know how stringent they are with this requirement?

To gain an understanding and strong appreciation for the dental profession, we strongly encourage a total of 100-150 hours of general practice shadowing in addition to any specialty practice shadowing prior to submitting your application.

This is from their website. They encourage you to have 100-150 hours but it isn't required. I can speak from personal experience; I had about 80 hours of shadowing and was accepted into VCU for this upcoming school year!
