what to reply to this professor in hope of getting a LOR

so I already have 2 LORs from the science faculty at the CC I attended but I want to get one from one of the professors at my transfer 4 year school. My problem is during those 2 years I couldn't be really involved so that the professor can get to know me. When I tried emailing my zoology and population genetics professor this is what he replied.

Hi (my name),

I think I remember you, but I am not positive. You will have to forgive me: I have so many students per year, and am not good at remembering people.

Here is the problem: what do I write? You did pretty well in my courses, but not totally outstanding. Aside from that, what do I know about you?

Are there perhaps other faculty who could write you stronger letters, because they know more about you?


PLEASE HELP LOL

This is a good indicator that he cannot write you a strong LOR. Find someone else to write it.
