I don't even know how to defend myself other than saying that an alliance with my siblings would be ideal for all of us. We have protected others in the past and we can do it again! With that being said,


I find it suspicious that they are a sole protagonist, when many of us have found peers.

OK, so I'm caught up on this thread and am about to go read through some old WW games, because I'm still a teensy lost. Can the wolves communicate via PM during the day, or only at night? (or should I ask a mentor person that?)

From what everyone has posted, I definitely think the "theme" is young characters in kid stories. I'm also a sole boy protagonist, so I don't think it is particularly complicated re: partners and whatnot...

In any case, I'm going to join the bandwagon of voting for someone inactive (which I am totally aware I was, like, half an hour ago) with a:

Here's what I know so far regarding mutiple vs solo protagonists...

We have two people who confirmed that they are sole protagonists but have no identified role.

We also supposedly have Dorothy, Red Riding Hood, and Goldilocks who I believe are sole protagonists.

We have Huck... who may have a counterpart and then we have 3 of a set of 4. So I wouldn't say many people are finding peers actually, just some of us.

I have 14 people who I don't know much about regarding their role though... so there is the potential for groups to be existent. They might be harder to uncover with people being hesitant to reveal themselves though. It took quite a bit of hinting for me to feel confident that cough and vdubs are who I think they are. And even now I have occasional doubts.

I would normally agree with you, but if we were the wolves advertising we needed to find our buddies outright would be incredibly dumb 😉. I think occasionally finding your "pairs" in WW games can give you special abilities (I can't think of the WW games off the top of my head that I've read) and sometimes it's just fun finding your story buddies?

I understand the suspicion. It's why, despite being quite active on this thread, when someone asked about partner protagonists I did not speak up. I think it looks fishy and the last thing I want to present myself as is fishy. But once kcoughli said something I felt that I shouldn't leave them hanging because the cat was already out of the bag at that point and I might as well reveal myself to people who I know will likely ally with me.

Furthermore, it would be a foolish move to present ourselves as a group when there are no other established groups in the game yet. If we were wolves, that would make us terribly transparent.
