Or maybe I don't trust your info because when I went back and ISO'd you, half the stuff you did and said don't make any sense at this point in the game unless you were trying to cover for wolves. Before Coffee came back you were sitting pretty as one of my 3 candidates for remaining wolf(s). Nothing has changed that to this point.

This is almost spot on with what my previous analysis was based on PMs and thread comments. Only difference is that Allie was near the top of my list. Oh and by the way @genny , this comment doesn't help your cause since I've basically cleared 2 of those people:

A lot of it actually checks out with my analysis and information I've been given. I had previously wanted to lynch Allie because if she flipped wolf it would also confirm Mel was a wolf and that would like be end game. If she flipped village, it would clear Mel assuming her role is affiliation seer.

Funny, she said the same thing to me of you.

Funnier still is the fact that she’s implementing that plan in a situation where we have a wolf waiting on confirmation and pointing the finger of suspicion of a possible convert in her direction.
 
I mean, talk about seering choices. It still baffles me that she never attempted to seer snowy and if she seered SAR n2, when exactly did she seer Mel?

ETA: I know she didn't. That's my point. Because to me that list looks a lot more like PR hunting than wolf hunting.

If you and Allie are both wolves, then it's a perfectly valid claim as Allie will back you up. I also know all her results, and other than you all of them are either conveniently dead or got blocked. So there's no way to confirm this other than trusting you, which I don't. Problem is I don't believe Allie 100% when she says she's village either. So the only way to confirm this is to lynch Allie, which could be disastrous if she ends up flipping village and is an affiliation seer. Quite the catch-22 and brilliant wolf-play if you two are wolves.

That's why I said "basically" cleared. Call it soft clear or whatever you'd like. I won't be lynching SAR or Finn based on re-reading the thread about 9 times because I keep having my theories shot down and misunderstanding game mechanics.

I already had to eat one hat this game and it gave me indigestion, hoping a computer might go down easier if I blend it up well enough.

Still willing to wait for confirmation on SP from Allie. We don’t even know if there was a convert but it sure as **** sounds like coffee was converted.

Phone is dying and I don’t foresee myself getting to a charger anytime soon, but I’ll be back if I do.
 
I just mentioned this in PM to finnski, but i did some calculating and I think there's a solid chance this game was on the lower wolf number side - hence the triple kill, and no rez (at least as far as I can tell). Just based on what I've seen it could be balanced at 4 total wolves, so we could only have one left, either original or convert.

Now, I prefer to err on the side of caution so I'm still going to keep in mind there might be another wolf out there. But it makes me feel better for today at least...coffee is certainly behaving like a desperate wolf left on her own. If she is a convert I don't know when that would have happened.

The write-up where there was a buddy system kind of got me thinking about this theory and I've been trying to find reasons to justify it ever since. If this is true, there may be another "unseerable" role out there somewhere, and I'd guess it may be another wolf. That could answer the question of "why are there two village seers?" assuming that Allie actually is a village seer, which I'm willing to believe for now.

Anyway, it's a bit of a wild theory, but I just wanted to get it out there before night results were posted.

I would seriously hope there wouldn't be this much overlap in village abilities because that would seriously overpower the village considering the abilities we've seen the wolves have. Really makes me wonder even more what other abilities they have

Paranoia or no, I don't like where my feela have been leading me. Having her flip wolf lines up waay too many things neatly for me to not pursue it.

Also wasn't it a LIS rule at some point that you lynch seers near end game anyway? I swear it sounds familiar hahah

I don't think multiple people sending things at night exactly overpowers the village. My pming certainly was more of a struggle at most times before it became useful

Most of the time I can't even decide who to talk to on a given day haha
 
At this point I'm operating on 3 major potential routes to take.

Attempt to lynch Allie. Imo, the most high risk-high reward option at this point. Every piece of info I've gotten from her in PMs other than 1 thing is something that either can't be confirmed (players are dead) or could easily be gleaned from the thread. The only piece of info that can be confirmed is that she claimed Mel is village and the events about how she found that out. If we tried to lynch her, we might get a kill or we might not because she is buried. That's a big risk to take because it means we may waste a lynch vote and probably give the wolves another NK. If we can lynch her successfully, there's two outcomes. The first is that she is a village seer like she and Mel are claiming and it clears Mel. This would obviously suck because we'd lose a legit seer. However, if this happens we'll have narrowed the wolves down to 3 potential candidates imo (which I'll discuss below). The second outcome is that she flips wolf. In that case, her vouch for Mel is proven false. This would mean Mel is a wolf, because they shared the same information about Allie's ability/results. He's also been defending Allie pretty hard, so if she flips wolf then he'd be my next vote. This would likely be the endgame unless we just had a convert.


Lynch Sporty and see what happens. Several people have gone back and analyzed some of Sporty's old posts and they are coming across as somewhat shady. Additionally, when I've looked back at Sporty she's been lying low more than a lot of other players and has been sitting in my "neutral" and "seems sketch" piles for almost the whole game. I'm going to go back and re-ISO both Sporty and Genny if I have time because I'm feeling very unsure about both of them for pretty similar reasons.

This route seems slightly safer, as we will likely get Allie back tomorrow and she can answer questions some questions that can enlighten us about several other players. The first question being "could you use your power when buried". If she says no, then we know either her or Coffee is a wolf. If she says yes, then we'll potentially have 2 nights worth of people who have been looked into and can clear more players. The caveat to this is if she says she only seered people who are now dead, then she will still be shady and option 1 may need to be considered more heavily.


Lynch Coffee. Coffee has returned and is ruffling errybody's feathers. There are things in her analysis which check out with me, but not to the point that I trust it without skepticism. She's basically implicating Mel very heavily, which concerns me because she has seemed to trust Mel all game and AM also seemed to trust Mel throughout the game (will go back and double check on the AM statement). Plus there's a lot of questions about who she actually seered and what the results were. The fact that she stated in thread multiple times, even before being buried, that she netted us multiple wolves seems off to me. It sounds like she's trying to re-affirm street cred, but now that we aren't sure about the seering that happened, I'm questioning if she was riding those statements to hide something else. So there's the chance that she was an original wolf and also that she's a convert. Lynching Coffee doesn't seem like a terrible idea, but if she flips village and is an ability seer then again we lose a seer.

There are one or two other things that aren't sitting well with me that I still need to investigate, but I don't think they're things we should immediately focus on as I think there are more important points to discuss first.

So I need to say something which may reveal my role, but at this point I think it may clarify things so I'm tempted to role reveal in thread. Yesterday about 10 minutes before lynch, Mixy told me this:

"Heads up if/when you die your role does alter the conditions in which you may use your ability. This means you will have a time limit in which you can use your ability. At your time of death you will be given your time limit just fyi. Otherwise everything I've told you up to this point is still in play."

After some (semi) jokingly aggressive posts to the mods, I asked them this: "Since I'm finding this out this late in the game, can I ask if it was planned that I not be warned about this until later, if it was just forgotten to be mentioned, or if you decided to inform me for some other reason (possibly related to game mechanics or other issues that may have arisen)?"

And Mixy responded by simply saying "game balance". I asked if they screwed up and accidentally gave me too much power and her response was "something like that".

I haven't been overly worried about being killed (other than the post Moose lynch) because up until then I the mods had told me that I could literally wait until Lylo to use my ability, however that no longer seems to be the case. I'll add that there was a very good reason that I haven't used my ability up until this point and why I've been waiting until we get closer to endgame to do so. I realize this puts an even bigger target on my back. But I'm confident that I'll be able to provide the info village needs to win before I die (even if I'm NK'd tonight).

Which, for game reasons is probably good because subbing for Kal I shouldn't have known that. But I'm laughing because I've been like "Who is this PM person???" all day...and I already knew :laugh:

If there are 2 wolves left and 1 is unseerable, that could be something. Or if there is a conversion ability that could be another.

This actually just made me think of something though. We still have no idea what the effing butterfly is. It makes me wonder if there is potentially a 3rd seer out there and either Allie or Coffee is a wolf seer? My previous theory of "doubles"/balancing powers may have been off.

The wolves had a post restrictor and village gets someone who can PM with someone different every night (every day?).
Moose's power is balanced by mine.
Dpmd was likely the "heavenly feels" based on her role as a protector and the US Airforce, which makes me think this burying power is more likely a wolf power.

Maybe that's way off though and I've just been wearing my tin foil hat too long...

Mel had my list yes of those that I cleared and I said I was sure so sure he was village until that last moment. He probed for dpmd's ability because he did not believe that it would clear her. I said I can't give it I don't know what you are for sure. I said if snowy flips wolf it clears you. But you see this would have been good it would have but Mel unlynched snowy and voted Lawper at the last minute and it allowed the lynch vote to go to a tie.

Genny, on the other hand, came from ISOing and the Jayna vote. The Jayna vote, yes as many of you had pointed out I didn't have good reason to vote her. Dear genny though didnt either don't you see? She has not provided evidence for anyone, ever, this whole game and gosh voted for snowy earlier and jumped off as soon as I jumped on so that train wouldn't take off. As well she was one of the first to ask me to provide evidence against Moose but quickly switched to defending me when others asked the same.

If I had to gander I think there may be 3 wolves left - Genny, Mel, Sporty.

The burier still being around makes me think we might have two wolves after all now that I think about it. I think I've seen a village jailer and protector in the same game before, but I'm just not sure the jailer is acting in an entirely village way here.

Because SAR followed onto snowy, jboo, moose all with 0 hesitation. In fact, she started Jboo lynch. If she had moved off snowy, they wouldnt have had to use their lynch redirection.

Also listen here, if I was a wolf, why the ****ing hell would I be causing such a big scene at a key moment like this, when I could've calmy walked out scratch free.

Basically see: genny has a lynch cancellation. That means today is as good as lylo if I'm right. NO ONE LISTENED TO ME ABOUT MEL BEFORE. I'm trying to point it out. You listen to me and 1. accidentally lynch a villager, lynch me tomorrow 2. Lynch a wolf, I'm right; you LYNCH me and I'm right, that's a loss point blank.

I dont even get you guys right now. Mods, if I get lynched but I'm right I still want an honorary win please.

Given the powers we've seen in this game (both in number and type), I wouldn't be surprised if it is something that can be used multiple times but has certain conditions in order to balance out how many village abilities we're aware of. And why do you think we've only got 2 wolves left? Is it out of the question that there are 2 originals and a convert left?

I have no idea what she meant, but you must think I'm a piss poor wolf if I'd gamble on saving Moose at the last second. I've played enough to know about vigs, jeez. I can put in the lynch cancel at any time. Want me to cancel this one?
