Act 2: Scenes 2 and 3: A return to normalcy?

I am going to start this write up unlike how I have started all of the rest of my write ups. I am going to tell you who died, and why it’s important.

Dead is Matty, Villager, Sir Atloarf, who died being able to block an entire pack for two nights, and died a glowing pink color.

Now, with Sir Atloarf and Queen Ehrban now dead, a time loop has closed and ended. Two predestined timelines now merge into one. A supposed coronation ceremony that went awry with the decimation of a town, combined with the timeline of a town that was decimated just before their queen (Queen Ehrban) died while attempting to enter the destroyed city. In either scenario, the decimation of Bigantria. The same players dead, the same heartbreak endured, the same lead in to the next place. And yet, the characters remember a little bit of both timelines, it’s funny how the construct of time can be manipulated and mangled.

However, you wish to see what happens next, and it is leading up somewhere you may not be expecting (you will in fact be lost if you do not read the Kcoughli death write up, so take a moment and read that now before continuing on).

The small group of the people we have been following, Biek, Keke, Sheath, and Kailvan, all safely arrived in a no longer occupied Bilundeam, but a decimated Bilundeam nonetheless. They arrived, being promptly welcome by a king, who was no longer a frog, but a real life human being again.

“Uncle… How have you turned back into…?”

“My wife has returned and undone the curse. But shortly afterwards…. She just stopped. I have my best men working on it, but nothing has looked promising thus far.” He looked down, clearly saddened.

“I am sorry uncle. But…”

“No, your highness, I am sorry for what has happened to Bigantria. It is truly terrible what happened to your home, your kingdom. And on the day of your coronation too…”

“I… Let’s not discuss what nothing can be done about. What I want to talk about is actually about the other world.”

She recounted to her uncle what had occurred during their encounter with The Encloser. “So… we are trying to figure out a way we can bargain with those of the other world. See if maybe…. We can prevent the destruction of this entire planet.

The uncle thought for a few moments. “Well, there is some good news and some bad news. It seems like the cycle of souls may no longer be interfered with, given that The Encloser is now dead, no? Some more good news, I know of a weird castle, on the forgotten continent, in which the story you are looking for seems to be presented there, and it may hold more secrets on how to access this other world. The bad news… There is no more mist on this continent.”

“Uncle, that’s a great thing that there is no more mist on this continent.”

“You misunderstand my reasoning. Mist powered all of our trams, trains, motors, anything moving through the air. Except our steampowered engines which have been newly created. So almost all communication from everywhere has ceased. However…. I being the wonderful man that I am have a solution to this problem. I have just finished creating another steam engine based airship, which of course… You can use to get to this castle.”

“Thank you uncle!”

They traveled on the airship, arriving at the castle within a day’s time. What was interesting about this castle, is that it appeared to be upside down. The base of the castle was at the top, the top of the castle the entry point.

“This is weird Kailvan, I have a bad feeling about this.”

UPON ENTERING THE CASTLE, THEY FELT THE RULES OF THE GAME CHANGE FOR TODAY ONLY. PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING about the game DURING BOTH DAY AND NIGHT CYCLE is opposite. Role abilities, items, packs, even voting appeared to have been messed with. Be very careful in how you approach today. The only thing unaffected by today is any CURRENT status effects and direct mod pms.

As they continued on inside, the first thing they immediately noticed was all of the weird technology held within. There were weird monitors, display screens, holographs, etc. all well beyond the technology that has been developed in their world. They looked upon a first monitor. A green planet and a blue planet. And it looks like the green planet was consuming the blue planet. Or maybe merging with it.

They continued onwards. In the next room was a blue switched. Kailvan instinctively touched it, rubbed his hand clockwise once and counterclockwise twice on it. It switched from blue to green. The sound of machinery activating echoed through the halls. And as quickly as it started it was off.
Keke spoke up, “How did you know what to do with that… thing?”

“I don’t know…. I just knew. I can’t explain it.”

They entered the next room, and found the enlarged version of the green planet in the room. Kailvan stared at it, and a weird, foreign word fell out of his mouth. All of a sudden, writing appeared on the planet.

Sheath look dismayed… “What does that say on there? I don’t recognize the writing.”

Kailvan looked and started reading, “Mother…. Firma….”

Biek looked at him puzzingly, “How do you know that language?”
“I don’t…. I just…. The words are being read to me, I hear them in my mind, I don’t understand how this is happening.”

“When the…. Light… turns to green…. Firma shall…. be whole again.”

Everyone looked weirdly at Kailvan. Kailvan shrugged. “I honestly am just as dismayed as the rest of you all. I don’t know what is going on.”

They went into the next area to find a set of winding stairs upwards. As they followed the stairs upwards, they came across another contraption. Kailvan pressed his hand to it, and images started appearing, with the strange language atop of them.

“The beginning…. Of the city… at first… it flourished…But soon… began to decline….At its peak… cities… all over Firma…Then… The decline…. Began….”

They all proceeded onwards, uneasily accepting Kailvan’s weird connection to all of this.

Finally, they arrived at a room with a platform facing many faces, and an elevator like contraption adjacent to it.

Kailvan approached the platform. In Kailvan’s mind he heard “Visitors, all climb onto the platform so you may understand.”

Kailvan looked back to see no one moving towards the platform. “Did you all not hear that?”

Everyone shook their head no. “I think you will be able to hear them if you climb atop this platform here. The party all uneasily climbed onto the platform.

The platform rose upwards, floating in midair.

“Visitors listen well.” By everyone’s expressions around him, Kailvan could understand that they could hear the voices too. “This is the record of our civilization…”

A different voice resonated in their heads. “The seed’s decline was not our fault. All vegetation…. And lifeforms, started to die out. They decay of our Firma… Triggered it all.”

Yet another voice started speaking to them. “Many methods were considered, we can assure you of this…But the decision that the best minds of Firma came up with….Was a final resuscitation of the planet.”

A deeper voice came forth. “This ended in failure. However, this later became the catalyst. Subjects were selected... And after the tremendous sacrifices of four, we were in reach of becoming a prosperous planet again…”

“There were flora and fauna again…. But they were not thriving, only surviving. The final results of all of this have not been fully discovered….”

“This room… the voices you hear… Was constructed so our glorious history may live on past our deaths. The elevator before you brings you the knowledge to come to our world. But it comes not without trials. Tread carefully, visitors, and remember that understanding is key.”

The platform lowered to the original position, and the voices fell silent.

There are currently 16 players remaining in the game. Day deadline is set for 10 pm EST. 15 people are eligible to vote, and 15 people are eligible to be voted.

I’ve responded to your posts plenty. I just didn’t respond yesterday because Easter was a bush day for me and I wasn’t on until late at night. I don’t think much of what I say will convince you. I’ve offered counter thought to your argument and you’re just kinda stuck. I didn’t say anything about the lynch avoidance because nothing else I was saying was believed. So why would I dig myself in deeper, I’ve been a villager with a lynch avoidance type role before and revealing it to save myself has always gotten me lynched. Why would I presume this time to be any different.

Well, I have read the kcoughki write up and last night’s and can honestly say all i have gained is an increased knowledge of my immense ignorance of what is happening - not that I was so unaware of it before.

I will crawl back to my unknown area and stick my head in the sand.

I have directly asked you and dolphin questions over the past couple days that have been completely ignored, including exactly what you've done to "work for village." Why is that?

I had a **** weekend at the inlaws and haven't been on because of it. My bad for not complaining to you.
I've been on SAR, Allie, genny, and kc lynches. We give each other a village block, even if we haven't factored into the story line yet. I can't help it that we also have an avoidance. But that's it. I've been burned but not attacked. We have been as up front about ourselves as allowed and even got Allie lynched who could have done a ton of damage. Not sure what you want aside from my head, but I'm telling you it's a BAD idea.
