WW: -Omitted Topic-: Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Semi caught up. Started with Thursday, realized reading twenty pages of posts would take forever, jumped to today. I'll catch up more thoroughly tomorrow when I have more brain power.

But ww is serious business.

This post seemed out of place, but I think people reacted in stride at the time so I may just be over reading. Slight feels.

This made me pause. Dubz was active during most of this conversation, and then she chimes in with this as if wasn't actually following it. I know she was killed/rezzed so I'm not going to linger too much on this. I agree that there's no point in convert hunting right now.

From my skim of today, my interest was most caught by Stagg and M#:

These are just SOME of Stagg's "why are you lynching me", "don't lynch me", "who would you lynch if you weren't lynching me" posts from the last couple days. It was a close lynch today, but he's making a lot of noise without contributing hugely to other conversations, and pressuring people for their reads without offering his own. The sheer volume of "why" posts is what's bothering me. Side eye here.

Also M#:

Chose not to vote because it would be "pointless." K.

In response to Coffee wanting to wait to lynch SAR again.

Of course a wolf is going to try that bluff. In what world would they not?

"Could be a bluff", "probably not true" . . . hedging feels

Ah, so he's committing to the theory now.

He says this, even though he himself has gone back and forth on whether it's a worthwhile lynch. Seems a bit weird, though jboo might have been pushing more strongly - will have to go back and ISO them.

Why put so much trust in Coffee?

I don't like this reasoning. Something didn't die after the first try, you try again. If twice doesn't work you reconsider. Historically 1x lynch avoidances are common enough that it makes sense to try again unless there are really good reasons not to. Just sitting on a wolf because she's not going anywhere . . . ?

It's weird, but M#'s back and forth seems too obnoxious for a wolf. If he was a wolf he'd know SAR wasn't in trouble today and should have had no qualms about jumping on her lynch, right? The weird commitment issues and following coffee actually make me think village. Or he thought hesitation would read more village because why waste a day killing an un-killable wolf when you can look for others? I don't know. It's 4 am. I'll read more later.
I agree with whoever pointed out the wierdness of this (I think Dubz). The "I think you're village" is so out of place with the rest of the reasoning - what's scum about pushing the theory that makes the most sense?

Normally as in during past games, or normally as in earlier in this game?

Slipping the "Hey look I'm village" comment in there, huh?

Didn't you contingency vote for Stagg yesterday? Why ask this? Feels weird to be forgetting about other people's reads when they're for the person you're also voting for.

The above post, coupled with some of the jokes today have be liking you M#.

This was a reply to me but I didn't catch it until Stagg responded.

Agreed with Stagg, wtf is this. Why are you parroting votes if you don't even know why they're being placed?
I wasn't calling your entire game play fluff, just that vote that was literally "can't break tie (even though there was >1 hr and several absent votes to go), have feels but can't say why." I might be a kettle but it was still cotton candy to me.
Jboo's name keeps coming up but I don't really buy any of the reasons. I don't see a wolf posting DON't LYNCH SAR when the wolf pack would have known she'd survive - why call attention to yourself like that? I agree with Jboo about Dina as well. Picking between the two, I feel like jbo is the most village.
It felt like Dina was probing for PR a bit and wanting to encourage discussion about them on the thread

M9 has had a string of feely posts - he keeps casually mentioning that he's village, voting for Stagg (following coffee iirc) and then backtracking and admitting he didn't know why he was placing his vote there.

Lawper I have on the village side of neutral, and I'm not sure there's any one post I can quote that will explain why. His reasoning hasn't felt wolfy to me.
I killed SAR.

You're welcome.
I summoned a friend to help. Not the bounty hunters.
I'm okay with a Dina lynch today, for feels previously mentioned.

I'll try to check in again but I have cells going tonight and I might not be able to get back on.

lynch Dina
I was also burned. Same deal, no actions for two nights or possible consequences.
Can confirm, Stagg lost one life last night. Depending on how many he has left he may be killable today.

Also hello all, sorry I've been MIA.
Admittedly I'm not caught up. I tried to skim the last two days before I submitted my action (a protection) and it looked like Stagg was still an acceptable target. I'm not following what you mean by "of all nights" other than the opposite day feature? Did I miss something else?
For clarification, the actions I used on SAR and Stagg were not the same. I summoned protection for Stagg last night which took a life from him while SAR was killed outright by a 1x assassin ability.
I have four abilities that are limited use.

I've received one item.

I'm village.

I had more time at the beginning of the game but much less free time this week (my life belongs to fibroblasts) and I hate that I've been participating so poorly. I definitely realize I've not been a valuable villager here, but I'm definitely not a wolf and have not been converted.
I pulled every PBC post that wasn't fluff, a pure lynch vote with no reasoning, or "sorry I'm not caught up, I'll try to catch up later" (there were a lot).

She definitely started village. @PrincessButterCup there are no more abilities, I would like to know what yours were and who you used them on and why preferably.

On that note I don't see why we should all know everyone's actions since there are no more abilities, and night results. This will quickly allow us to find out who's lying (hopefully).

I didn't get asked to leave dead chat (and don't think I can get added back if I do, so really do hope he doesn't ask that of me, it's kinda my baby).

Anyway, her solid non-answer that I'm not sure hurts or helps me, lol:

I have a half day today at work and will reread and actually figure out where I want to look early afternoon.

PS: go see Avengers it was amaaaazzzing.
Wolf reads?

I think in wolfiness rank, I'd list everyone:
PBC
MsP
AM
Coop
Pippy

We're near the end. Everyone has reasons to not be the bad guy, and yet there's a bad guy still here. That makes me think that the game was designed with a red herring somewhere, and the trick is to work out where it is.

PBC rises to the top because of several reasons. First - I would have mod killed her, or swapped her, like, ten days ago. She has zero content. She killed an outed wolf, and then attacked Stagg, who was turned village at that point and the whole event for that character had been highly, highly written into the story. Both of these things were easy to use as affiliation specific at the time, but now, they honestly look fairly convenient for someone who has been about 10% present.

MsP has some sketchiness going on with Pippy and a fantastic cover. As far as I can tell she has contributed nothing significant to the game and is at best a distraction and a real **** player to take into the finals because she can't discuss a thing. The role is weird and divergent from everyone else and I could easily see it as a cover.

I had AM almost the most village player the last time I made a legit list, and it was wholly on play. She has been sketchier and sketchier as time progresses. I am still a bit rankled that she called out my lack of voting two days ago when she, also, did not vote, and ignored several other players. It was hypocritical, and then she again didn't vote last night. All in all I feel that her vibe has changed the very most this game.

Coop is pushing appropriately during this end stage and may have me a bit pocketed tbh, lol. Navi had a bit of loose lips in dead chat that gave me some more info on her character and what she has presented has felt very authentic to that so I'm honestly just not seeing it.

Pippy is sketchy as ****, but unless she just straight up killed her convert as cred last night, I'm not feeling her as a wolf. Still fairly skeptical of her "redemption arc" though.

Dead chat has basically devolved into conversation on the theme today, as Navi knows I know it and let everyone else in on the "big secret" lol.

And lawper demanding cute animal pictures from everyone.

Damnit, why do you have to be right? I know why I was left alive. And as a wolf I wouldn't kill Ms P because of her fantastic restriction *sarcasm*. Apparently AM was expecting the flip to village and 100% bought it and I'd really like to know why.

I have you as straight village but you'd be a great convert choice. What's your role? Or are we allowed to say that? I can't remember.

Also who had the loose lips? That's important you know.

I don't understand the context of this statement?

It's discouraged. I'm in a couple writeups this act as everyone came to Firma.

Navi, lol. But I just got mildly grumped at for saying anything so gonna shut up on that lol.

I'm still leaning slightly less towards her based on the write ups and the fact that Mel was like, fake iso'ing her last night, but still is a potentially dangerous ability considering who the convert was that it is worth probing a bit imo

These two statements are separate. I was not actually "yelling" at you, more everyone else who is being so quiet it's bloody suspicious.
Well, you asked if I had anything to say, so I assumed you wanted a response from me in general.
