i don't like having nordicat on my team. i'm pretty sure she isn't a wolf, but fact is she gave up emiloo's item out of nowhere and i don't feel like i can trust her.

It wasn't out of nowhere. I told her if I hadn't heard from her by a certain time, I was going to voice my concerns. I was worried she had been silenced. Regardless, it was a two-time use item and revealing it once she no longer had it seemed to me like it wouldn't harm her.

Whatever.
 
I am also suspicious of nordicat giving up emiloo's item. Wtf did that with heylodeb in the dif game which pissed me off and me suspicious of her and wtf ended up being a wolf. Not sure if it is just a noob mistake. It is after the deadline, but since the voting hadn't ended, and if I am able to, changing my vote:

You are fighting for your life not to get lynched and you throw a vote for someone who has no votes? Why wouldn't you try to go for someone who had other votes? I mean wolf or tribute, you'd think you'd want to save yourself 😕

Outing someone when they are silenced is a bad thing to do, especially when they have an investigatory role. Also, people have lives...just because they don't respond right away doesn't mean they deserve to have their role revealed.

because there's no count anywhere and i figured the deadline was really close and didn't have time to go back and count.

but if yall use this lame strategy maybe i'd rather not save myself. :meanie:

I really don't understand why peeps be all up in arms about me saying an item existed? Is it just because it wasn't MY item or what?

Emiloo said she had the investigative item and that she investigated nordicat and that nordicat was a tribute. So regardless whether it was "nice" to reveal emiloos lost item, nordicat was cleared by emiloos item.

if you say a person has an investigatory item, you are painting a huge freaking target on them. at the beginning of the game, when we know very little so far. that's pretty uncool.

It was a transitory item, not a permanent role.
I give up; I guess I just don't understand it.

Regardless, I now have one team member who "doesn't want to be on my team." THAT much I'm smart enough to have understood clearly. 😡

Yes, because it wasn't YOUR item. Just because she hadn't responded to you by well before the vote deadline, you decide to spill knowledge that she learned. What if she had a reason to hold onto that knowledge? I'm just saying that outing a player's knowledge without their say so isn't very smart.

Holy crap. I go on a day trip for some outdoors and hiking and I come back to a million pages and tons of stuff has happened!!

Voting still hasn't been called, so I'm going to say lynch fireflysushi. I don't think katie8 is guilty just because she has the rum, or that nyanko is guilty just for being quiet. I also see that nordicat was already cleared... so I went for someone in CFC's group, going with the idea that maybe she told her group about her item and was mauled as a result.
 
Regardless of past hurts, that investigative item did clear nordicat of being a wolf. So, shouldn't we concentrate on trying to lynch wolfs instead of people we may not want on our teams? 😕
 
Whew, Dyachei, let's please lynch someone and get the night cycle started so hopefully some of this tension can diffuse... I could cut it with a knife in here!
 
Unlynch Orca2011 maybe I cam down a little harsh about how you reacted to Katie8s ramblings and talk of her being someone important, after all, I too was suspicious of katie8 before.

Going for lynch fireflysushi instead. I think it's odd that she missed voting for mayor and made a big apology for it and then missed the very next vote too. It was posted that you could PM dyachei your vote if you weren't going to be around (I did that since I had to work all day today), so if you were upset about missing one vote, wouldn't you make sure you voted next time? Really not something to go on, but at this point what do we have to go on.

If you're referencing the Dog Sanctuary (irrelevant?), why would I have kept something like that a secret?! Oh, gee, someone told me they can become a wolf, let's offer them that opportunity! Honestly I don't give a flying eff whether someone is on my "team" or not; I care about what is going to leave the greatest number of villagers alive.

I didn't really have a reason to lynch her before hand besides silence, which really is stupid strategy and I recall saying that I wouldn't base a decision to lynch someone on that unless I actually had other suspicions contributing to it.

Okay... I'm suspicious of Fireflysushi at the moment. She's hasn't addressed the concerns that CFC told one of us her role and got killed for it -- even though she's posted within a few minutes of these posts and should probably have seen them.

But if they knew she had done some digging, it might make her look pretty tasty to a hungry wolf. It's ok. Just be careful everyone about what you share when you share it. I'm not saying to be completely closed off. Strategizing openly can be a good thing. Just be careful. You never know, you might say something that a wolf doesn't like.

Is it best to just leave names out and just say, "I've become aware that a (item) exists" ? I'm still a bit of a n00b at this.
