Did kanariya even vote to lynch anyone last night? She (?) was on during the vote and posting quite a bit, but I don't have her marked down as voting for someone. I could have missed the post, but if not why didn't she vote? Was she unable to? Did I miss something?
 
Off to volunteer for the next several hours. I may not be back on until 9 EST so don't take my lack of commenting/observing to be suspicious.

OKAY. I started with the living players list. I eliminated those who are silenced since they couldn't have any action last night anyway. I eliminated those who voted in either the lynch OR the new mayor vote from yesterday. I eliminated those who were active (posting) last night. I eliminated those who were active (posting) before Dyachei posted that she had received the vote.

The one person who was not active last night was Libster. She was last online at 6pm yesterday, did not vote and did not post. She is THE ONLY ONE. Katie8 just logged on but posted last night at 11pm. Kanariya did not vote in either which IS strange because she was active. But she was active.

I'm thinking Libster should be our next lynch, pending the night results of course.
 
I am confused by the sov thing....

It says that he pm'd to use the view and arrow on packen and the way I understood it was that he was going to lynch trematode for the day cycle when it starts...

Am I missing something?
 
To clarify:
i originally wanted us to vote on who to shoot. I started the voting with trematode.

No one responded. So instead, I did Rand() function in excel to pick among my top 10 list and came up packen.

So I sent message to shoot packen.

Now we are waiting to hear result.

Trematode is safe for now.
 
To show you how much of a spreadsheet geek I am here is the formula to pick among your top10 lynch candidates:

=INDEX(top10,ROUND(RAND()*10,0))

you need type the 10 names in a list and name it "top 10"

everytime you make a change on the spreadsheet, open, or save it, the choice will change.

You are correct, I did not vote. It was a flub on my part, but I didn't want to join in on the Bandi bandwagon (when she posted she hadn't received PMs, I believed her) and have no info to go on on my own and I was waiting for someone to provide information to go off of to cast a vote. I did say that the time of the deadline was unfortunate because I was at work and had my screen open and was logged in to keep up with conversation as well as post in my own thoughts. My teammates already know this, but I work 3-11:30 (CST) and I work in a hospital laboratory which is also a reference lab and the largest hospital in the city. I was in the least busy area of the lab last night, but it was still early in the week, so I was still pretty busy! Right before the deadline my partner was on her dinner break and I was running the entire hematology lab by myself. I came back and made a comment about lynching 2 vs 1 to get our silenced players medicine and then dyachei posted that results were pending and I had a "CRAP! I didn't vote" moment, but what is done is done. I did post this morning that I hope that since night was extended, that day will be too, so that I can have a chance to vote today...I have no idea how busy I will be tonight, which I am leaving for work...right now.

And yes, I am female. 🙂

That's interesting because I was thinking that Libster and Katie's description of the rum didn't match up. Katie seems to be implying that it is being used on her. Maybe Libster was unaware how to use it at first, and she is in fact, the one who is using it on Katie? I mean, none of us really k ow how to use our items at first and I think it is Libster's first time playing.

Maybe libster found out you are drunk UNTIL you use it on someone else. Maybe he keeps on filling up katie's cup!

That was my thought, especially since their descriptions didn't seem to match up. It seems strange that if she were not a wolf she would continue to purposefully give Katie8 the rum without voicing her own suspicions about Katie8. (Like, "Hey guys, I think Katie8 is a wolf so I'm going to keep giving her the rum!") Also, the fact that no one else has been intoxicated except for Libster and Katie8 (who is still intoxicated, last I knew) is rather prominent in my mind.

This is a very good point, we would think that the rum would be be lost after so many uses, or something along those lines.

I think shes trying to tell us that we think shes a wolf because cause shes acting drunk even though someone else is making her that way.

So we know/think libster had the rum to begin with. She has either learned how to use the rum properly and keeps using it on Katie because she knows katie to be a tribute and wants us to lynch an innocent person OR someone else has the rum now and has a similar plan.

Libster herself said she had the rum the first day, so we know she had it to begin with.

IF the item can travel, I find it hard to believe that whoever got the rum next would continue to give it to Katie8, unless they were also a wolf.

IF the item can travel, I would assume it would go to a new person each night, and that it would have hit a non-wolf by now who would presumably stop giving it to Katie8.

So it's my strong opinion that it's Libster doing it.

Did Libster post at all yesterday?? I know we're trying to avoid going after the silenced ones, but since there seems to be a failed wolf attack, it seems somewhat reasonable in this case. I don't have her written down for the lynch vote or the vote in which we decided on how many we should list. And in the past she's generally voted for the people who were leading in the number of votes (although I don't like targeting those who jump on the bandwagon because I know I've done it too).

I checked her (Libster's) profile when I did the eliminations. She last posted yesterday at 6pm, I believe in another thread. She did not vote at all here and I don't believe she posted at all in this thread. And if she was last online at 6pm, she had likely not already PMed her night action to dyachei. She's literally the only one who was not here at some point.

I did post, and I said I am a bit confiused. as I haven't read the books and I'm not sure how to tell things.... I am a n006, sorry guys :/

You are right I checked today and saw that I missed last night's vote :/ I apologize... wee have a cardio test Friday, an Avian/Exotics final on Monday and an Epidemiology final on Wednesday... I also have my aunt's wedding this weekend that I have to drive four hours home to so I have been trying to prepare for all that stuff and I have not had as much time to get on as everyone else.

Take it how you will, but that's the truth.

My bad. I thought I read earlier in the thread that that was allowed... I guess I was confused on that. The rules change from game to game... I was looking at the whole "can we pm the mayor?" debate and I guess I was confused..

Ok I am back from my pub crawl with my dad. I really wish that we had night results as I have no idea what the heck to do at this point. It is 1 AM my time and I need to go to bed soon. I don't want to miss the day maul vote as that is never good, but also don't want to vote without having anything at all to go on. Lost a bit here! 🙁

I am going to try to stay up a bit longer.

I think results aren't going up until 11pm here so about 3 more hours. I would go to bed if I was you, probably no lynch vote deadline until mid day tomorrow at earliest.😴 Its been pretty slow all day so I don't expect an explosion of posts tonight unless someone finds a wolf from the nighttime activity.

Hmmm... I thought Dyachei said that the day maul vote was due at 11 PM EST - did she change that somewhere and I totally missed it?! I just don't want to end up missing the vote and then get looked at sideways for it :eyebrow: (this eyebrow guy is amazing! 😀)

The night cycle was supposed to end this morning @ 8, but someone forgot/neglected to PM her and she works so were are still in the night cycle waiting for day to start. We've been talking about lynching, but we don't even know who the wolves victims are yet! I think that since we've lost a cycle, things will be a bit off for a while. The weekend is coming so things may speed up and get back on track then.

Shame that everytime I have a free minute the thread isn't moving; but once I get busy it completely blows up! :boom:

Oh yeah you're right, I guess I read it wrong this morning, but at this point with no results I don't think we are going to be able to do a day lynching in 2ish hours. You can always PM a vote to Dyachei, no one is going to hold time zone differences against you..
