I don't trust anyone...but I trust my teammates more than I trust outsides because we've talked more. If eveyone just vouches for their own teammates, does that really get us anywhere?

Not really, and I think most of us feel like we can/should trust our teammates. I'm pretty sure that list was useless. And if 2 wolves are on a team, of COURSE they'll say they trust each other!

Exactly! I mean, anyone and everyone can be lying. I'm as starting to dirstrust people in real life at this point! The trick is to catch a lie or notice a hypocricy. I haven't noted anything like that thus far. But sometimes it is hard to keep up and I feel I miss something.

I did mention that at about noon today, but I don't think anyone noticed/cared. I suggested that there are only 3 wolves and that they are Cato, Clove and Glimmer as they are the only named 'Careers' in the book.

Well in the books the named tributes (Peeta, Katniss, Rue) were trying to kill the other tributes so they could win the game and go home to their family. But of the tributes in the book I would argue that those along with perhaps Tresh where the good tributes. Dyachei confirmed Peeta is a good guy. That would mean the rest of us would be evil.

For those who don't 100% trust that SOV, that redhead and I are tributes, any easy way to figure it out would be to have someone who can investigate (item, role, whatever) check into one of us.

The whole secret characters is annoying because we don't know what they could do like in the dog sanctuary. Where is bandierose has she posted today? Interesting that she didn't come on and defend herself all she would have had to say is "I'm Rue" and we would have changed our votes, or at least I would have. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait and see what happens tonight!

Well in the books the named tributes (Peeta, Katniss, Rue) were trying to kill the other tributes so they could win the game and go home to their family. But of the tributes in the book I would argue that those along with perhaps Tresh where the good tributes. Dyachei confirmed Peeta is a good guy. That would mean the rest of us would be evil.

I also think character roles MUST have some sort of special ability, otherwise they wouldn't be character roles, they would be tributes. Since dyachei isn't giving clues on items usage, maybe they had to deduce they special skill relative to the character in the book!? All this runaround is making me dizzy 😏

Ok. I have looked back through the thread, just a quick overlook

This is what I have found to be suspicious...

-Packen (The deal with the role not matching what other people who have had the role said it could do seems a little awkward to me)

-Pet Pony (Suddenly claiming to be Katniss right before she is about to be lynched could have been a last ditch attempt, but then there is the possibility that she could be Katniss, hopefully those trackerjackers just silence for one day/night )

-thatredhead (The thing with the PM's seems weird, but what seems even more weird is the constant stating that there is a knife as a weapon which I don't think there actually is). I could be way off on this and I really hate to metion this since she was cleared by Lissa but I don't know if it is possible that a wolf was able to feed Lissa this info or if a wolf was able to avoid investigation. I also hate to mention this because I was on the cleared by Lissa list and if she were to come back as a wolf that puts a target on the rest of us on that list... But, I think it is worth mentioning to help find the wolves.

I've stayed quieter this game because when I talked a lot in the last game I got votes for every lynching. I've figured out there's no good amount of talking to do. If you're too vocal, especially in defending yourself, people think you're a wolf. If you don't talk people think it's because you don't want to be outed as a wolf. I tried to talk a medium amount but that leads people to think I'm a wolf because I was more talkative last game. There's really no way to win 🙂. I changed my strategy because in the post mortem of the Disney game readers who hadn't been playing said they were certain I was a wolf. That's when I decided to pick a new strategy.

Since you mentioned that I'm not posting a lot I went through and looked at who's commented the most with this post I have 59 posts in this thread and am tied for the fifth most comments in this thread (although I am tied with a dead player...). I have been strategizing openly in the thread and chatting with my district members. Although I don't agree with killing people because they're quiet to play devil's advocate: Trematode was also really active in the last game and in terms of commenting on this thread her place is 25/35.

I'm confused about what you're saying about the items and the roles. I'm not taking the people's statements about their roles as face value. I even brought up that it was odd that Petpony signed up for Katniss and just happened to be her in the game. If dyachei assigned roles fairly (like drawing slips of paper out of a hat) Petpony would have had a less than 3% chance of getting Katniss.

In terms of items I've only mentioned one--the jabberjay. I mentioned it before anyone else on the main thread said they had it or knew about it. I tried to relay what it is used for but I wasn't totally sure of the details since squirrels is the one who had it. I've never claimed to have any items since I haven't.

I think you might be missing how often I post or that I'm strategizing because in this game everyone has similar avatars. Most people have the dark dreary district pictures whereas in the Disney game I had a bright happy timon avatar. I know that I've even seen ky post and looking at the avatar without reading the name I'll say when did I post that? Maybe that's just me though since I tend to remember people by their avatars.

Hmm. I thought only Packen said they had that option. kanariya had the bow and arrow and said she(?) didn't have options as to what she could do with it. Before she died CFC also said that she was only told to use the bow and arrow carefully and that there were no option as to what to do with it.

I can vouch for hedgiehog, she is the only player I was able to clear with my jabberjay. In her first pm to us she said that she wasn't gonna post like crazy in the main thread like last time because it didn't turn out well for her. She has been very open with our group in PM and we have chatted frequently about strategy.

Does anyone find it odd that SOV and Kirst decided to come out with Liss's list after she was killed by the wolves? I can't help but wonder if SOV and Kirst are both wolves and that's why they took Lissarae out and then they sent out the list of "cleared" players and of course both said it was the list Liss. sent because they're both wolves. I don't think either is dumb enough to list all wolves in their list, they could be all tributes and they just want us to waste our votes taking out those players after finding out they are wolves because they know we will. I'll admit it is a really risky move if you have 2 wolves in the group, though, because then you're giving up 2 wolves to save a wolf from being lynched for 4 days, doesn't really seem to add up to me. So, maybe that's not it 😕. So confusing.

I feel like coming out with information after someone has died is because that person didn't want to share the information themselves for fear of being targeted when they were alive (eg Kanderson/survival pack). If Liss did in fact share her list with her district buddies, perhaps she asked to have them wait to say anything unless she was already dead or silenced? I don't know, maybe I am just going by my experience with Kanderson--but I can understand not wanting to be targeted with a list/item. I am inclined to believe SOV is a tribute, because he has been so open about everything.

This is probably due to a naive/newbie mistake. I have never played any WW games before. I got a PM from Dyachei that said I got the b&a, use it wisely. I asked her what it did. She said that she could not tell me, but I could use it or give it away. I figured she told everyone that. I'm trusting that list from Lissarae because I'm on it, and I know I'm a tribute. It's suspicious that it came out after her death but honestly, I think we're wasting a crapload of time strategizing about it. So for the love of hummus, people, can we move off of the list? It's providing an excellent distraction.

I agree that you need to look at me and Trematode. In my case so you finally learn I'm a tribute and stop wasting your time suspecting me! And I'd really like to know if Trematode is a wolf or not 'cause she's high on my list right now. As far as having CFC hit, I can honestly say (for the billionth time) that I had no idea that CFC was Peeta. My guess is she was a random target but a wolf could easily have had an investigatory item (or potentially an investigatory role).

But I think it's going to take my being investigated or killed for you to believe me 🙄

Finally, I was given the bow and arrow last night. I can confirm that you're told to use it wisely. And if you ask what you can do with it that you can pass it to another player, use it on another player, or not do anything. I'll be honest and say I really, really thought about using it on someone (since you think I'm a wolf anyway what does it matter if I accidentally take out a tribute?)... but I'd rather have known for sure that my target was a wolf. So I passed it to someone else (not sure I should say who yet though).

I've got a super scary test from 9-10am CST so I'm off to study some more now.

You just can't win. Don't talk enough=wolf; talk too much=wolf; talk somewhere in the middle=wolf.

I did state that you are at the bottom of my suspicious people list. I am just trying to pick up on anything. As for what I was saying about the item, I was trying to say that if someone had mentioned it previously anyone could now say hey I found x item and used it and so and so is cleared. I also did read through over 25 pages of thread in about an hour and a half last night so I could have easily gotten mixed up as to who said they had what item first (especially with all these dark avatars).

At this point, I am not sure who is or is not a wolf.

I had no idea that PP was Katniss either until AFTER she outed herself.
This is how the conversation went:

I come back onto this thread and see that PP has outed herself as Katniss.

"PP why did you out yourself as Katniss? Are you really Katniss or are you just saying that to save my butt?"

Then she said she IS Katniss. I think she outed herself to save her butt (because people were getting suspicious of her comments) and I think she wanted to see if the whole Peeta/Katniss thing had any significance. She told me she was not afraid to out herself because she has some sort of protection. She said she still did not know if she could trust me. I told her I could not help her there, because I was given the role of tribute and that nothing significant had come my way at that point in time to help prove otherwise and I apologized to her for that. Then, she was silenced and I have no way of communicating with her.

If she was NOT Katniss, you would think that the real Katniss would reveal the role to at least one other person and somehow the truth would escape. But it hasn't, so for the meantime, I think that she is. If you want to throw her under a bus, so be it, but you will look like an idiot if she is the real Katniss. Someone with powers should investigate her and report back to the group. Thanks to that nice list of investigations that Lissa I believe gave to us before she died, the chances of PP actually being Katniss is higher than if that list was never brought to out attention.

Unless there is a shred of evidence that PP is not Katniss, I am not voting my partner out of this game. She is the only person I can talk strategy with, and I have felt pretty useless without her.

As someone who hasn't read the books, I don't know how that all works, but I agree that our strategy needs to change and this seems like a good place to start.

But aren't almost all the items for Katniss in the book. The bow/arrow, the pin, the pack, etc. I am not sure that makes sense. Any tribute can use them, just as Dyachei says, "we have to use them wisely".

Right, but the bow and arrow is the only one we can choose to pass on - not so for the pin, for example.

I was also thinking that maybe the items needed to be passed to a particular player, like the bow and arrow to Katniss. But there hasn't been any mention of an item that's particular to either Peeta or Rue, so I'm not sure anymore.

Also, I don't think targeting people who were silent overnight is a great idea. Sleep is pretty awesome and it's only 7:15am here on the west coast.

Here's the deal, I can't move forward without this PM - kaydubs and TT don't have the results/PMs that I do, so you are going to have to wait for me to get back from work to post night results.
