Vote Cubs

@Animal Midwife anything wrong with a sloth/Cubs pack? Any reason I should consider Sloth over Cubs?

I liked a Cubs vote yesterday and I like it even more today in light of the VSLMIP flip. His D1 pass just expired. (Plus kinda copping out and sheeping a flipped villager so I don't think I'm tunneling)
Sloth still looks bad trying to get the thread to back off of Dina.

But then this is kinda redeeming for Mel.

Please has only wolfed the 2 times, so I guess I can't say that she 100% wouldn't do something risky like village read both her packmates, but it feels less likely to me than her doing it with 1 sketchy villager and 1 wolf partner. Thoughts?

For sloth, Like I said the general thought process of asking someone for specifics on their reads felt villagey, but the VCA don't lie.
Cubs I have no village points for
I like my vote between these two, but on Cubs unless you tell me sloth over cubs.

Ugh being on the same wavelength as Mel, I have to reassess my read on him.

Idk how to feel about the fact that I have 10x more posts than Cyndia in this game so far. It's a mixture of horror and something I can't quite put my finger on.

No offense to Cyndia who is playing and insightful, but it isn't that hard to for players like us to vastly outpace her post counts.

Can you elaborate at all? We cannot usually do anything with just role name info. Ability is much more helpful, but I understand if you don't want to reveal it incase it's something super important

I feel like I’ve pointed out every post of his that has bothered me but I can do an iso at some point. Probably not going to have time to do it tonight. I don’t know anything about the physiology of vision, vestibular function, auditory, gustation, or olfaction and that exam is tomorrow morning

Why Mel?

Iirc he had what I thought were some weird reads on people earlier in the game, and whatever he's been doing with the ghost voting also feels like he's trying not to really wolf hunt. But as I said, his more recent reads lining up with my own makes me feel *slightly* better. Unless I'm wrong, and Mel is "wrong" too for nefarious reasons.

Eh I remember Please hedging on me too. Treading carefully because strongly trying to misyeet me tends to go poorly for wolves and even noob wolves I think can feel that vibe on thread, but if the sus builds on my wagon it's irresistible and they want to be able to vote there.

I'm about halfway but I stopped for a while to eat - back at it now and I should be around till close bc I distracted my SO with a movie he wanted to watch.

I think my problem is I like to really mull things over and analyze and it's just.. too slow when posts are being added faster than I'm reading. I need to be less of a control freak about wanting to be correct, and just follow my gut and word vomit more lol.

Cyndia is one I forget is playing like Bread, but I have liked her contributions so far.

Genny village vibes has been from her analysis. I just caught up 200 posts and yet another 100 has been created for me to catch up just as I asked not to lol. So I'm not going to be able to go back and say what specific things she's said and how she's been reading situations this game that feels village, but it does.

Yes she did. She also said that we could bus Zenge if Dina revealed. And that's how I ended up panic bussing Zenge. Then when I was silenced she had a whole plan on who should bus me and when. I don't remember the specifics and I have no energy to go look, but I think she and Cyndia both voted for me? And I think I voted for her but I'm not certain.

The safer strat might have been to have someone bus vote Zenge before Dina revealed, so that's what I mean I don't tend to get out in front of these bussing situations although as I said, when it's foregone conclusion then I do like to consider how to confuse VCA and be sure of timing and reasoning for any wolves on or off the vote.

Ninja'd - oh god I forgot about that horrible series of silencing. I didn't read far enough forward into the wolf chat to get to that point where all of this happened, so maybe what I read was way before that.

Then there was all the posts about how we were the dumbest wolves that ever loved because of the mechanical things we did that resulted in our outting. But to be fair the seer that already lost us a wolf was like unbelievably stupid hard to kill and then we also had those failed kills, and got a little desperate for our cigarettes and shanks or whatever to give us our planned extra kills. The point being that the situation with Alley we hoped that it wouldn't all go to hell but we also kinda saw it coming.

THIS! This is why I was freaking out about please's vote being "too easy" because it seemed like there was VERY little resistance to her being the leading vote for so long. That made me anxious to go there because like everytime there's a leading wagon without resistance (especially without mechanics or something to out them) its a village misyeet. I feel like there has to be some reason why she went down on D1. Reminds me of the basics game where you were sacrificed because every wolf was on the board D1.

This was why I didn't pile on (I thought about it, she was actually my top suspect over Sloth, and even as a villager I would have loved the cred being on the wolf wagon) but I thought more important than my "cred" if I was right, was to maybe put pressure elsewhere and see what would happen, and my 2nd in the POE seemed a good place. If it looked like that shifted things pff Please I probably would have moved there next.

Aside from the fact I'm getting sussed, I still feel pretty good about trying to spread the vote and see what would happen especially if wrong about either Please or Sloth.

But I think it's likely that they're wolf partners which is why voting for Sloth didn't lead to great wagon movement.

Don't fall into the trap about hypocrisy though.

It's fair he's worried your sheeping is wolfy, and it's fair you're worried that his is as well, but it means basically nothing for either of you to be villagers and be sheeping who you think are villagers, yet sus someone else where you think they're being lazy wolves.

Also, for what its worth, I wouldnt (and didnt) kill him N1, especially after he rando died early in the game I just modded. I may be a dick, and sometimes im a wolf, but im not a dick!wolf.

I understand where the sloth vote is coming from and am considering going there again. I’m leaning village on Cubs at this point due to what I’ve said before. I’m just not seeing how he could be wolf this game. I don’t hate the mel vote because I have him as neutral and earlier today he made some interesting posts on sloth that looked like backtracking. I have cray as neutral leaning wolfy because I liked shorty’s ISO and saw the points there. Still neutral on genny

AM and shorty are village. Bread is neutral because someone made a good point against him being wolfy but I also can’t remember any content that stands out so don’t want to move village yet. Dina is neutral leaning village because seems not sketchy on the surface but I struggle to convince myself lol. Want to look at cyndias posts more.

Not quite sure I can pin it down to that, his read in that quote saying he liked her reads just seemed awful, like I didn't think her reasoning was good at all. And now I can't remember having just read the quote if it was Please or Sloth he was talking about, but I hate it either way. I don't want to do the endless scrolling on Tapatalk now.

Well I wasn't trying to say that you were saying my activity level is AI. I feel like I'm playing as much as I ever do, because I'm doing PbPa on every post. I'm just behind and that isn't that unusual. But in any case my point is that I feel like my point on Cubs was valid and early. So I don't think it's fair to say I'm not wolf hunting, or that I'm bussing him. Others can disagree but that was my point, what my activity was, like quality not the amount so much.
