How Do I get the Upgrade?

To request professional verification, sign in and open the verification form. Select your profession and provide the requested professional email address and, where applicable, NPI number, license number, and license state. Complete the email confirmation step when prompted.

Some requests require SDN staff review. Veterinarian requests use staff review. If your profession is not listed or the form cannot verify your details, contact the Private Account Help Desk for assistance.

A professional badge and access to a restricted professional forum may involve separate requirements. Follow the specific forum's current access instructions.

Available to doctors (practicing, non-practicing, academic or non-academic) in the following fields:

Privacy

Verification requests are associated with your SDN account so staff can review the request and apply the appropriate badge. Submitted verification details are not displayed publicly by this workflow. Keep sensitive details in the verification form or private staff-request channel. See SDN's privacy policy for how personal information is handled.
