I replied in the other thread to axel, but I will here as well.

I would say the odds are slim, but there is one person who has not shown up for orientation but supposedly notified the med school to say she will be there Monday, but is stuck in Europe. (awful right?)

This is blatant assumptions and extrapolation, but my guess is they are keeping you on the list until she shows up for sure.

Gator8 if you don't mind me asking, how competitive was your application? ie. mcats, gpa, extracurric.
