I have the nerve wracking experience of UF being both my top choice and my only interview so far this cycle. Can any current or interviewed/accepted students give some insight on how interview day went? I heard it’s supposed to be a chill day.

My daughter interviewed and was accepted. She said it was very chill and conversational. Good luck!🐊
 
I completely agree with this! It was one of my favorite interviews and honestly very down to Earth.

Superrrrr easy. I was barely asked about the medical aspects of my application, and mostly talked about movies/sports I enjoy. I feel like it naturally led to talking about some of my experiences, but it wasn't a direct focus. They were extremely genuine.
 
Has anyone else whos been accepted received an email after the next steps email? It says a follow-up email will be sent regarding FAFSA and UF COM scholarship application but I haven't received one yet. I got accepted in October.

You're not the only one. I haven't received anything either since the next steps email. Accepted in November.
 
Hi! I was wondering if it would be a good idea/worth it to submit my secondary for UF today or tomorrow. I had ultimately decided not to when I initially applied because i felt like my stats were too low. But now I have a sense of regret and received an email that the last day to submit secondaries is the 15th.
 
Does anyone know if UF is still sending out IIs and if so till when? I went to UF and its my top choice.....

I received an II just a few days ago, and when I scheduled they said February interview dates would be released soon! So it definitely seems like they are planning on rolling out more invites, albeit maybe slightly slower than earlier on in the cycle.

Congrats! WHen did you submit your secondary and if you know your LM score??

Thank you! I submitted my secondary in mid-Aug, but I don’t know my LM score. Honestly though, I’m not sure it matters too much. The vibe I got was that they’re very holistic and are looking more for a clear mission fit than anything else. Hence the very long and wonderfully unique secondary application 😂 I’m rooting for you, and hope you snag that interview!

Does anyone know if UF is still offering interview invitations? I’m afraid it could be over. As a Florida resident, I am bummed that I still have not heard back from 5/7 Florida MD programs. Any thoughts on when UF stops offering interviews and sends the final wave of R’s?

Looking on admit for the last cycle, pre-II rejections came out early March (3/3/25 and 3/4/25) last year. However, there were more applicants this year than last year, so it may be later.
