What's up guys, Luke Skywalker here, officially starting off the 2011-2012 application thread for UCSD.
Here are the average stats (and ranges) for this school:
GPA Cum: 3.8 3.5-4.0)
GPA Sci: 3.8 (3.5-4.0)
MCAT Cum: 35 (30-39)
MCAT WS: R (O-S)
MCAT VR: 11 (9-13)
MCAT BS: 12 (10-14)
MCAT PS: 12 (10-14)
Here are the acceptance and matriculation data:
%OOS: ~10
Total #Seats: ~134
Average Graduate Indebtedness: ~$98k
I know a lot of you will go on to start new threads so please try to include this information in the beginning to make these threads pretty standardized. Takes a bit of work but hey, at least you can reference all of this info readily during the application process without having to log into the MSAR website (as I am sure that all of you will be constantly logged in on SDN as opposed to the MSAR website). Anyway, may the force be with us all this round of applications!
