Wow, I'm sorry to hear that man! Your stats are great though, and I'm sure you are sure to be accepted elsewhere so don't let it get you down too much. On the bright side, at least they didn't leave you hanging for a long time!

I appreciate the support, maybe RWJ will show me some love. I'd love to spend 4 more years in Piscataway. Best of luck to you and congratulations again 🙂

Accepted!

3.9/32, OOS, and I have done a lot of work with the underserved so I think that helps. I reaaaaally loved this school but I'm wary about leaving New York. We'll see what happens!

Ah - bummer! I'm super sorry - you're stats are great and definitely in-line/above CMSRU's averages. But, yeah, I'm positive you'll find success somewhere! I'm pulling for you!

Aw man, I just got the absolute nicest personal call from Dr. McGeehan. I absolutely love the personal and supportive touch here!

I know, right? I might have choked up a little bit. Maybe that happened. Lol.

i've been complete for 2 months today and havent heard anything from them 🙁

Any movement today? I interviewed 11/1 and I was told they didn't get to my file last week so I was hoping to hear today, but still nothing.

+1 so anxious...still haven't heard anything!

Pre-interview rejection here today. OOS and stats near their average, so not too surprised. Sounds like such an awesome school though! Good luck to everyone still in the running!
Also, I was complete beginning of September.

30/3.9 and rejected... Im kind of disappointed i thought i had a good chance at this school. Oh well they can piss off like the others.

Rejected pre interview, thought that my experiences fit their mission pretty well but I guess being OOS might have done me in. I really wanted to check the school out too. 🙁

I sent in an update/requested an update earlier tonight and was emailed my (pre-interview) rejection probably 30 minutes after I sent the email. :/ I was expecting it, but rejection still sucks even when you're anticipating the blow! 27 MCAT, OOS, 3.97 GPA, URM, good EC's, great LOR's, complete 9/7/13. Also thought I matched their mission pretty much to a T, but guess not. Oh well! I should have know my chances were very slim applying to a school that accepts primarily IS for only 90 or so spots!

Pre-interview rejection, below 30 MCAT. Good luck to the more fortunate!

For those rejected, can you still login? I didn't get a rejection email yet, was compkete early september, but when I try and login, it says the page no longer exists

I know, Im so anxious. Did you interview on 11/1? I'm guessing we will definitely hear back this Thursday?
Yes, my interview was 11/1 as well, so I'm hoping this Thursday will be the day we hear back. Don't think I can wait another week 😛

(rejected Thursday; LizzyM=71) I can still log in, although sadly enough, there's no reason to. There's probably just something wrong with your account (not a rejection).

Ah okay, would you mind telling me when you were complete? Thanks and good luck!

Waitlisted, interviewed November 15th. Really hoping there is some movement off the waitlist this year.

priority waitlisted and interviewed 11/1. Are the chances of getting off this good based on previous years?
+1 priority waitlisted as well. Really liked this school and hope to be pulled from the list

Can someone explain the difference between "priority waitlist" vs regular "waitlist"?

As someone on the regular waitlist, my research has uncovered that no one was pulled of the regular waitlist and only a few from priority last year. I really hope that changes this year.

In my waitlist email was the sentence "I expect we will go to our waitlist in 2014". Whether this was meant about the priority waitlistees (I am regular), just to make us feel better, or that they actually expect to pull off the regular waitlist I am not sure. Hopefully its a sign for good things to come.

is it wierd that I just got a secondary invite

i submitted my primary way back in july

I just have a quick question for the current medical students or perhaps students that may have had experience being on this schools waitlist. I interviewed early October and was waitlisted after the interview (assuming the non-priority list). Does anyone know how accepting this school is to updates or phone calls from waitlisted applicants? They were absolutely amazing during the interview, but I have also heard that the school does not take updates and do not want to come across as annoying. So I am split between wanting to give them an update as this semester ends and maintaining professionalism.

I think that in a normal case, if my GPA was much more static and I had a long history of volunteer work that I would not care as much about giving an update. If I had a longer history then an update would not mean much since I have had years to develop a strong argument for my connection to their mission. But I have only recently returned to college and perhaps another semester of straight A's while taking difficult coursework and additional volunteer hours might help settle any uneasiness with my application. I felt that my application came across as unique, but weak because my decision to become a medical professional is more recent.

Was thinking about this as my current semester is coming to a close. This school was phenomenal and do not want this cycle to end knowing that I could have done something more.

As always, good luck to everyone looking to interview soon or in the same situation as me!

rejected just now, complete 9/20. OOS. best of luck to anyone still in the running!

Withdrawing my Interview Invite due to acceptances elsewhere.

PM me if you want a late January date and I'll let you know when it's cancelled so you can snag it up.

Best of luck to everyone 🙂

Rejected the other day OOS LM = 68 complete late October.

Does anybody here have an idea as to how quickly the class seats fill up? I know interviews go on all the way into February. And what about waitlist movement? Thanks!

It's hard to say as they are only filling 75 seats this year. It seems that everyone who tours the school and interviews there falls in love with it. I was no different!!

As far as the wait list goes, there is a priority wait list and a regular waitlist. Apparently last year there was very little movement on the priority wait list and no movement on the regular waitlist. As someone who is on the regular waitlist, I really hope there is some movement this year!!!

Hey thanks for the info! I'm due to interview here soon and I'm hearing nothing but good things about this place! So I'm so excited to meet the faculty and check out the facilities 🙂 Though I'm anxious just because of how few people they accept into their entering class! Not to mention the OSCEs, which I can help but be nervous about what to expect regarding those.

Best of luck to you, I hope you get in off the WL as well :luck:
