Yay! Mind posting the questions?
If it was not included on your AMCAS application, please list your entire curriculum plan for the 2013-2014 academic year. If you are not currently in school, please briefly describe (in 100 words or less) what you are doing now.
Briefly describe (in approximately 100 words) your health-related experiences. Be sure to include important experiences that are in your AMCAS application, as well as any recent experiences.
Briefly describe (in approximately 100 words) your interest in Emory.
What do you consider to be the role of the physician in the community? (100 words or less)
Do you have any updates or new information to report since you have submitted your AMCAS primary application? If so, please describe below. (100 words or less)
Submitted!
They really don't change the prompts much from year to year.
From Emory's FAQ:Does anyone know what the maximum of LORs they accept? Do they accept a minimum of 3? or do they only take 3?
If I recall, I remember seeing 3 as max on MSAR. Please let me know so I can decide on whether to assign two more LORs to Emory!!!
How many letters of recommendation do I need?
Applicants are required to submit either:
One letter from a Pre-Health or Pre-Medical Committee; or,
Three letters from individuals, two of whom should be your professors in the sciences
We strongly suggest you submit two letters from the professors who taught you in the hard sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) in your undergraduate or post-baccalaureate education or from someone familiar with your research and knowledge in the sciences.
If you are unable to submit letters from two science professors, you may substitute letters from other educators, advisors, or employers, but keep in mind that Emory is an extremely competitive school. The Admissions Committee will look for applicants who demonstrate a sound knowledge in the hard sciences, prior to attending medical school, and are able to provide recommendation letters to attest that knowledge.
May I send additional letters of recommendations?
You may submit additional letters of recommendation, but keep in mind that the Admissions Committee may not be able to read an excessive amount of letters. Please limit additional letters to just a few.
Does anyone think 118 words is too long for one of the approximate essays?
I got an invite to complete the secondary, but submitted my secondary a few days ago. Has this happened to anyone?

"The quoted post's content is relevant to my situation as well, as I am either 1) in a similar circumstance, or 2) would like to request the same information."what does this mean: +1 ?
Hey Guys,
I've been verified since 7/11 and have still yet to receive a secondary or even an acknowledgement of receipt of my primary. Anyone else sharing my boat?

Sorry to hear that. I submitted 7/12 and have a secondary.
For those of you who have already received a completion email from Emory after submitting your secondary, how long did it take for you to get the email after submitting?
I still haven't gotten a completion email even though my last letter of recommendation was received on 7/2, and my supplemental application says submitted, and my fee was submitted, but for completed, it says "not at this time. Is anyone else having this problem?
Y'all IS or OOS? I submitted 7/16 and haven't heard anything either.

OOS. and I've been verified for almost two weeks.
Wondering if I should call.
You sure you're not mixing amcas submitted and verified up? Sorry to ask but I just realized that I have been, oops. But I would call, it wouldn't hurt anything 🙂
Just a heads up - it's Orientation week for the M1's.
The same people who do Admissions are heavily involved in Orientation, so everything goes a lot slower for you all this week. By Monday/Tuesday of next week, there will be a flood of completion emails going out.
Same thing happened last year.
Complete email!
Received the secondary on 11 July, submitted 12 July, complete today. When did you submit?
