Mine were submitted before that (July 28th) and aren't considered in yet... It's a bit stressful to have your application just sitting there and losing relevance when everything is in!
Yeah I called and they said they are having a technical glitch with the letters and to just check daily

For those who are wondering about LORs not being received:
You letters have not been received by Emory. We apologize that we are having an uploading issue with our applicants Letters of Recommendation. Our IT department is looking into this issue and we hope to have it resolved shortly. This is by no means putting you at a disadvantage. Please keep an eye on your Letters and if they have not been uploaded to Emory by next Monday, please send us another email.

this process is so stress inducingThe supplemental application site continues to be spotty for me.. to the point where I can't complete it since I've been trying to download it for like weeks now and I get like 2 or 3 things done at a time in the rare case it does load. Both of my computers have this problem so it seems not to be an internet or computer problem but their internal server. 🙁 any suggestions?
Silly question, but have you tried a different web browser or updated/full shut down recently?
That's a valid question actually because I did update and restart my computer a few days ago and it loaded for me for the first time. But it has been hit or miss since then. And I have tried firefox and chrome on both computers.
Try a full shut down again, give it a few seconds then turn it back on. Might make a difference...
Could also be a wifi connectivity problem? I did all my secondaries at cafes because my home wifi is awful.
I wouldn't think it would be a wifi issue since all other sites work. But yeah, maybe I'll go to my university and try a school computer or go to a different place with wifi. This is what the error message says if it helps "The webpage cannot be loaded. A secure connection cannot be established because this site uses an unsupported protocol" I'll try your advice and if it's still weird, I'll just leave my house lol. Thank you for helping!
Sounds like perhaps it's a security issue? I would check your browser settings and try making the security settings as weak/loose as possible and then try using the page. I didn't have any problems when i completed their app, so it's likely something local with your computer. Good luck!

Finally! It just changed today but it says my letters were received 7/29, which is odd.
Oh well, at least it is finally complete!

I'd wait until they're a couple of weeks into sending interviews, and then send it in if you haven't heard anything. I'm sure opinions differ, but personally, I think August is a little too early for updates.
I would definitely update. I don't think the timing matters, they expect you to update as things come up.

**** me. I put the wrong name in my 'Why Emory?' essay.... Looks like I can forget about this school. That's what I get for trying to complete too many secondaries at once 🙁

Yea I've kinda made it a policy for myslef not to look at any submitted secondary unless I get an interview. Figured it's out of my hands now anyways....
Completely anecdotal but my friend is matriculating at Perelman this year after writing Weill Cornell in all of his secondary essays for Penn. His interviewer just laughed it off.

Does Emory email or notify on the website??
I was emailed and then when I logged on to the secondary page like it told me to there was options to pick interview dates on a new tab called "interview". I never checked the secondary page to see if had changed before or anything tho

Emory doesn't reject people during the cycle. Your file will remain under consideration until April I believe.
