Ooh you should get that done now, especially since you'll want to allow for at least 10 days for alterations (sleeve shortening, pants hemming, waist suppression). Plus, it never hurts to wear one around the house for a couple of days to let it start conforming to your body a bit (if you get one that's canvas lined).

Half-canvas is almost as good, plus it's usually much cheaper than fully lined. Combatant Gent half-lines their stuff, and their suits start around $200, if one wants to go the economy route.
 
I am not sure if anyone can answer this but are medical students allowed to pursue a joint degree such a MA in Clinical and Translational Medicine? I know there are offers for joint MD/MPH degrees and I see that the MPH also provides MA in CTM but I can't seem to find a direct link on Temple's website?

Has anyone had to deal with sending in an IA letter to Temple?

We had a noise complaint at my off campus house and spoke with community standards after (no disciplinary action), and I just saw that temple needs a letter sent directly to them? My IA letter is already included in my committee letter so I am not sure how to go about that

I had to send one. I just asked my dean of students to write what happened and the penalty for it. You can call temple and ask if the one your committee letter wrote will be okay.

I emailed my 2 pre-health advisers and they are pretty knowledgeable so I will see what they say. Worst case they send separate letter just as a precaution. Thank you for answering!

Edit: Did you notice if you had to do this for other schools?
 
Hi folks, I'm an M-1 here at Temple (can't believe it been only a few weeks - feels like eternity). Shoot away if you have any questions!

Yea that should work! I had to do it for Boston as well. Those are the only ones I noticed I had to do it for.
 
I noticed other people had issues paying...I can't pay either. Anyone figure out how to resolve the issue?

Ugh I just had the same issue. It says my secondary app was submitted but I never paid anything?? When I was at the screen where I am supposed to pay it said the one time link was expired or something.

Anyone else have this issue? Do I need to call them Monday?
 
Did anyone else not see in the e-mail that you can only copy and paste your essays one time? I entered a rough draft of mine the other day and went to paste my edited versions in, but they will not save. I currently have one of my essays blank and it will not even let me save an essay in that block. Has anyone else run into this problem? Kind of freaking out.

If you keep messing with it, you can eventually get it to save. I had a similar problem, and it worked after a few tries. You can always call the admissions office if you are still having problems.

Your pop-up blocker must have blocked it. This happened to someone else and they called and were told that within 48 hours temple will send them an email with a link to pay. If you want to be safe you can call to make sure

I called them and tried to ask, and the lady was really aggressive. Before I could even explain what happened she went off on the popup blocker. I tried to tell her that I didn't have a pop-up blocker set, but she interrupted me to tell me (again) that they TOLD US in the instructions to turn them off and NOW I had to wait a week.

It was a pretty unpleasant experience. I don't know what else to do. I know I don't have a popup blocker set because I checked before i clicked submit. When I got to the page, it just said I had already clicked the link?

I had the same issue, mine said I had already clicked the link. If you get any more information or a solution, please post!
 
Submitted my application about an hour ago and also had an issue with paying. There was no button to click on the last page. I emailed admissions so I will see if they get back to me tomorrow

Same problem here. Just sent them an email on that issue. Please let me know if you know any way to get around it. Thanks.

I had to do one for MCW as well. My school's office of student conduct handled it, it wasn't much of a hassle.
 
Out of curiosity... did you guys have popup blockers set?
 
This is the email I received from TUSM this morning for those having issues paying

We have a process in place for this. Since you were not able to make your payment your name will be captured on a list notifying us to reset your payment link. This happens about 3 business days after your first attempt. Once reset you will receive an email asking you to try again.

How does this show up on the online portal once it is received and how long did it take? Did your status show as Under Review before the IA letter was arrived?

I've waited over a week now I think and nothing.

My status says "verified - your application is under review"

Free secondary!?! (too good to be true)

On the supplement tab it shows "Print application" and "Institutional action letter", both with a green circle next to it. I'm not sure how long it took to receive because my dean never replied to my email of sending it. I emailed him and then about a week letter my portal showed that it was there. My status was "verified" before the IA was received by Temple and then a couple days later it changed to "Under review". Hope this helps!
 
Does Temple not send an "application submitted" email?

Those schools always get me paranoid haha.
 
Am I going crazy or do I see my tea avatar all over the place?
 
Does the status of "verified" mean I'm complete? As in just sit back and wait for it to change to "under review"

Btw, everytime I get a notification from this thread I assume II's. makin me sweat. honestly doe, its sept 7th and no II, this is waaaay later than last year

I'm pretty sure I didn't pay. I did like 7 or 8 secondaries that day and for maybe 2 of them I had already paid in advance before submitting, but I don't remember doing that for temple.

When I click on "print secondary" or whatever, it says fee processed on the day I submitted the secondary.

No idea what's going on, but I almost hate to sit here quietly and eventually forget about it and have my application thrown in the trash months later when they realize I never paid (if I actually didn't).

I'm going to wait until next Tuesday and email them to ask.

I just looked at my application and it says that my fee was processed the same day I submitted as well. I double checked with my checking account and I don't see a withdrawal from Temple University. You'll have to let me know what they say when you email/call them.

Edit: My application also says Verified: Under Review but my LOR won't be sent in until Friday so I am not sure how that is possible
 
Anyone else have trouble submitting? I literally can't submit the secondary. I emailed admissions.
 
I didnt have any issues with the essay formatting and I copy and pasted numerous drafts! Maybe change browser if pop up blocker fix doesn't work!
