someone got off North Philly yesterday apparently per admit so what is true at this point

I thought that was St. Lukes- there isn't a differentiator on admit for those two campuses I thought.

Someone on here got off the WL for St. Lukes, so i believe there is movement there already as well and they did not report on admit

Ok here is my thought process about this- the committee always only meets on Fridays. The last batch of decisions went out April 28th and those students have 2 weeks to decide. 2 weeks post April 28th falls into the week of May 12th, which is the week of May 15th- meaning the committee is meeting on the earliest Friday they can after they have finalized numbers of open seats after this last batch of decisions went out. I think the "if" is just terms they have to use to not give false hope or promise that students are going to then freak out about and use against them.

In that case I’d guess either the 19th or the 21st would be the next A wave, they tend to like Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is torture

This is the worst part, especially for St. Luke’s and their 40 seats. Most people apply there with local ties and I feel like there’s hardly any movement for that specific campus.

I know this is the wrong forum but I’m in a similar situation for tufts Maine track. Only 40 seats + ppl with local ties apply. The tufts forum is dead so I came over to sympathize w you. I have no clue what WL movement will look like/if it will even happen 🙁

Also wouldn't be surprised if it's after the 15th- that's the date applicants need to commit to one school on CYMS. They'll have a good idea of how many spots to offer then.

Also repeated that they are meeting this Friday to review WL

Could you also share if the admissions office confirmed the receipt of the letter of intent and the new letter of req? How did you submit the new letter of req? In the process of doing that as well but I wasn’t sure if I should just have my writer send it directly to the admissions office?

yea both of them to the portal- they confirmed receipt of letter of intent but that was bc I emailed them about it. Have your writer send it to you and then you just upload it to your portal. My writer did an official letterhead like they were mailing it in and I uploaded it.

Ugh it kills me that some schools release financial info extremely late. With so many CTE deadlines steadily approaching, I imagine some people can’t wait for financial aid info?
