HST interviews have started going out.

Edit: I should clarify before getting asked for stats, etc. that I got the above information from a former student of mine who was recently invited for an interview.

Has anyone else who has received an II struggled to get access to the list of student hosts? The link on the website portal "HMS Host List 2016-2017" doesn't take me anywhere when I click on it. Wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this problem or if the school hasn't posted the list of student hosts yet. Thanks guys!
 
^ same problem. They said early September so maybe they're in the process of finalizing that list.

same issue for me as well, might send them an email tomorrow morning if it still isn't working by then

I emailed them yesterday about this and they said they are working to fix it because it was the first time they were made aware of the issue. They sent it to me via email so maybe if you email them and ask for it.

Anyone know how strict admissions is about meeting all of the pre-reqs on the pre-req sheet we have to complete and bring to our interview? They require 1 semester of stats, and it can't be from AP credits. I graduated this past May, and my only math credits are AP calc bc and AP stats... hate to not be considered after my interview just cuz i didn't take stats in college

they only look at that sheet once you've been accepted and they need to ensure your reqs are complete prior to matriculation. I know they've been more relaxed on some reqs for some people, but I also have some friends in my class that were required to take certain classes this summer in order to meet all matriculation requirements before the first day of class. Basically - don't worry about it until you get in. Good luck at your interview! 🙂

II this afternoon! applied both HST and Pathways but only got II for Pathways. I'm okay with that tho 🙂

Completely casual. You're eating pizza in the dormitory lounge with current first years who have no influence on your admission what-so-ever. Literally you could wear pajamas.
 
does Harvard send out rejections? or do they do "silent rejections" after secondaries?

No it's non-rolling meaning all decisions are made in February after completion of all interviews. You may be at a slight disadvantage as interview slots disappear but there is no disadvantage beyond obtaining the interview (even that is slight as they do more than one pass on apps and don't give out all their interviews at once).
 
Congrats! What available interview dates were offered?
 
Is the completion email simply their receipt of the secondary app?
