Super psyched to get an invite this evening! I know I always used to lurk anxiously on sdn for people's timelines of completion, so here's my own timeline for what it's worth:

Submitted amcas 6/7, amcas verified 6/16, Secondary received 7/1, returned 7/11, completed on 8/3, interview invite 8/4

I don't think the photo is mandatory because I got my II and I haven't sent in a photo or been asked to do so.

My thoughts exactly. I sent them an email a couple of weeks ago and they said..

"Unfortunately, there isn’t a set timeline for receiving a secondary application. We review all primary applications and only applicants that are selected to receive a secondary will be sent a link.

Thank you for your interest in Morehouse School of Medicine!"

Hey! My I'm a current first year. I want to first say congratulations! Your interview experience will be extremely chill and fun. The students and staff are really good about making you feel welcomed and comfortable. Your interviews are typically conversational, so make sure you're able to talk about yourself along with carrying on a conversation. They want to see if your personable. Show interest by asking questions, but don't ask questions for the sake of asking. You want to get to know your potential school. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions PM me 🙂

Yes you do have to respond in order to reserve your interview spot. You can either call or email confirming you will attend the interview.
