Does anyone have any theories as to why some people have December interview dates and some much earlier? I got an interview invite two weeks ago and the interview day is scheduled for Dec. 2nd while some people who just received invites have an October date. Super curious as to why this is!

Either the more desired/fitting candidates are being asked to interview first, or it's merely their way of spreading applicants across the cycle.
 
i just got a rejection from here, post-secondary, and honestly do not understand at all

Non Interviewed Applicant Decision today?! not sure why but they sent in the wrong date as well Aug 9 2016..Lizzy m=63 and great research underserved extra curriculars masters student high gpa low mcat story...but ORM so that could be it....all in all i got my essay edited 3 times so not sure what happened.

omg, i just realized mine has the wrong date as well! (august 9th 2016!!). The funny thing is that I did not submit my secondary until August 17th.. so idk what that means..
I am in your position as well with great focus on the underserved, including research, clinical, and volunteer experience. I am, however, an URM!

what went wrong if you dont mind answering? did the interview go well? also what format was used? one on one or MMI
 
So.... I called Morehouse to ask about the letters and the guy said that they are submitted via amcas even tho the secondary says "send directly to the committee." I was also told that they DO NOT require the photo. They should seriously update their secondary. Has anyone sent the photo in or heard anything differently? I just want to see if someone was told anything differently. I would hate to be incomplete because they are unorganized or someone told me wrong, ect. I REALLY want to go there <3
 
I sent in today my secondary and emailed the photo form in. No response yet confirming the photo email

I bet that they will see your photo and simply discard it if they do not need it. I really hope they email you about it. I might just call tomorrow to "see if I am missing anything from my app." That way I can lowkey verify that Im good lol

I never sent in a photo thing and I just had an interview
 
For those that have completed the secondary, did you fill up a whole page for the essay?
 
Secondary received last week! Looks like I passed their mysterious screening!

You don't, there's a button to start application and it simply creates a new one.

I tried to start a new application using the same email and I kept getting a message saying I already submitted my application. I must of missed the button you're referring to, so I ended up just using a new email address.

Do they screen for their secondaries?? I got verified in August still havnt received a secondary..

You might want to call and double check you didn't receive one. I did call them and realized I had been sent a secondary about a month and a half ago but somehow it went into my spam folder, even though none of the other school secondaries did that.
 
Submitted my secondary and the photo. Got this response back to my photo email (where I also asked if there was anything else they needed, since the instructions were a bit confusing):

"We are in the process of updating our secondary application. One of the changes will include removing the picture form request because it is no longer needed. If there are any additional documents required, we will contact you once your application is processed. There is no set timeline for this process."

I was pleasantly surprised I heard back so quickly.
 
II today!! Completed in 8/1. IS Lizzy 68.3. Do I have to call the admission to confirm my interview attendance?
