Does anyone know around what time they send out interview invites for the scholarships?

I was told they conduct interviews the beginning of March, so I assume they'll be sending out the invites in the next week or two!

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone finished their interview season a bit earlier this year? It’s my first time applying so I’m not sure haha

Yes, definitely, because the traffic rules make them want to fill out their class earlier

As of February 15, 2020 we have:

  • Received 1025 AMCAS applications (final)
  • Received 927 Supplementary applications (final)
  • Interviewed 427 applicants (final)
  • Made 95 offers
(Generally it takes 120-135 offers to fill a class)
So, at best, there are 40 more offers that will go out. 31.6% of interviewees will have received an offer if that’s true. The suspense is killing me.

comparing this cycle to other cycles, they've sent out FAR more offers and had signif fewer interviews (30 less than last year and like 50 less than the year before). I think that whats really interesting is the factors at play here.

PURE SPECULATION 1) Its possible that more offers are being sent out early to fill out the class before march 15th becaue theyre expecting other schools to be sending out offers early, so perhaps a higher % of people are holding multiple offers at this timepoint in the cycle which would provide the potential for more spots opening up down the road 2) Maybe people got accepted to Brody (cheap, lower rank) and an expensive high ranked private school. Previously people wanting to go competitive specalties may have picked brody and grinded step 1, but now a small fraction of those people may be pushed into attending a higher ranked school. 3) If there are less people being interviewed, the pool of undesirable applicants is smaller and it may take more offers to find a desirable candiate who isnt holding onto acceptances at other higher ranked schools.

FWIW I already gave up on getting in and am studying the LSAT, so this isnt me holding onto hope but presenting reasons as to why it MAY be good to not take the 95 offers at face value

Random question, do they mean 125-135 initial offers to fill the class or does this include folks who will eventually we pulled from waitlist?

120-135 offers includes all the Acceptances they send out between post-II As and waitlist As. This is because some people initially offered As will turn down a spot. If fewer people than usual turn down a spot, the number may be <120. If more people than usual turn down a spot, the number may be >135.

Is there a certain date we will hear back about all of the scholarships?

Anybody know if Brody has any rules for the "plan to enroll" tool? Or do they just follow the same guidelines as AAMC?

So I called a short while ago, they said their class was full but there are still more acceptances to be given out. Do you guys think that means prior to waitlist or including?? Just wondering if we can expect more pre WL acceptances or nah

I'm assuming that means including waitlist because their tracker already has more acceptances offered than their typical class size. Just my interpretation though!

Can someone ask if WL has already been sent out
I can only speak what happened last year: the wait list went out on March 29. As of March 15, 2019, there had been 86 offers, and on April 1, there had been 93 offers. The number of offers extended reached 133 by July 1. So history suggests there is a lot of movement to come.

Just an update because my impatience got the best of me and I called. They’re finishing up reviewing applicants still under consideration and aiming to send out Waitlist notifications next week. Hopefully that eases anyone else like me that’s been anxiously waiting for any news this week.

Does this mean there are no more acceptances? Just waitlist or rejection?
