Same here! I interviewed 1/12 and got placed on the alternate list 1/22.

I called the admissions office to ask for feedback so I could improve for future interviews and I was told that the class is full at this point. They were really kind and willing to talk with me, so hold onto hope and reach out if you can!

I believe in us though. There is always a lot of movement on the waitlists.

Aww, thank you! That's so kind of you to say. I needed a boost today, so bless your heart.

I'm not 100% sure if they filled the HPWL, but it seems like it is close to being full, if not full, just on how much they expressed they had an influx of applicants this cycle.

Do not let go of hope! You put in so much work to get here, you can do this.
 
Waiting to hear back from the interview, are they sending rejections since the class is full or all waitlist?

The AdCom meets this Friday...

I haven't heard of Rowan rejecting, but I think their version of rejection is being put at the bottom of the alternate list...

They only started putting people on the alternate list in mid January. Would that mean that everyone who interviewed earlier got an acceptance?

yup! or the hpwl

essentially the people who interviewed Aug-Dec were the high stats, preferred candidates, for whom the interview was more of a last step to check if they're good fit for the school...for those interviewing now, its more of a tool to use to compare applicants with various stats

no no its totally possible! sorry I think I should have phrased it better...since the class is full now, one will either be put on the HPWL or Alternate list...those who are higher stats will most likely get put on HPWL while those with lower stats on the alternate...

but since they are interviewing until March, one's position on either waitlist might fluctuate until all interviews have concluded...after that the AdCom might reassess candidates and pull them off (since date interviewed is only one factor of ranking)

again this is just what Ive gathered from talking to admissions/browsing sdn

From my previous cycles of experience, this is basically accurate
 
hey! anyone know is interviews may still be sent out? I was complete in september and this is my top choice school ughhhh. hanging on any hope lol
 
For what its worth; when i spoke to admissions they said they will still accept someone if their interview is stellar. that being said they probably mean as close to perfect as possible lol.
 
for accepted students: do yall know by when do we need to complete the criminal background check after receiving the email request?
 
Just to confirm based on the thread title - is this a MD program or DO program
 
approx how long does it take to know since secondary submission for a interview? I'm waiting still but unsure if it'll be worth it since its February... but also alot of schools are silent AF and are still planning on interviewing through march/april so idk!!

I interviewed 1/26 and called Friday for an update. They said my interviewer was not at the adcom meeting so I got pushed to the next meeting, 2/19. So that’s a possibility or they’re just behind and will reach out Monday!
 
So is there anyway to get out of paying this out of state tuition?
 
If interviews run through March, then they won't pull of any waitlists till after then, right?

From what I've read in past forums, if someone who has been accepted doesn't accept their seat, then they pull off the HPWL at the same time as interviews and also after
