do you have any friends/classmates who were on the HPWL? any advice from them on how to wait it out?

hahaha my bad... for now yes! waiting to hear back post-II from an absolute reach school and then I will make a decision

Yeah, a lot of them come off the HPWL and got accepted but unfortunately nothing is a guarantee and not much you can really do from this point on but wait 🙁

One advice I can give tho is continue showing interest and attending events the school hosts. They seem to be receptive to that

My friend spoke to someone with admissions last week and they said the HPWL was fully cleared last application cycle and they even went into the regular waitlist pool. Of course nothing is guaranteed but I’d feel pretty good about a HPWL spot

Hi guys, I'm an incoming MS1 here, if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Rowan SOM is a great DO school with its own hospital & research opportunities. Also here is their match list for last year: https://som.rowan.edu/documents/match.pdf. They had matches at Mayo clinic, NYP Columbia & Cornel, NYU, Cleveland clinic, Yale, and more! Best of luck! Apply early makes a huge difference!

Hello, I had a question. Do they send secondaries to everyone? I just got one, Im from NJ, but my stats arent that great and my gpa was horrible. I am retaking. Do you think they just send to everyone?

Yes I believe they send secondaries to everyone, they don't prescreen for secondaries

Yes in your interview packet, you should have gotten the email of your interviewer if not you can also find on google

I sent a thank you email directly to my interviewer and they never replied and I was accepted earlier this week.. good luck!

Don't sweat it, a lot of them are busy and usually don't reply but they prob just read it

Ah yeah I’ve had luck but have only secured deposit for like 2 schools after the deadline. Both of them are not as good as Rowan tbh with research

I had my orientation after my one on one interview as well. Did you have a group interview before your orientation?

Did you interview on Monday and get your II on Friday before? That's what happened to me but I had a 1 on 1 interview. Monday was the only available date for me to interview on when I went to schedule which I found odd.

I did but about half of the people at my orientation did not and it was fine. They said if you're having difficulty getting it to work or if it's cutting off half your face/ not tracking well then it's okay not to use it.
