i think the commit to enroll is stating you are going to the school and you should wait until you are certain until you choose this. The deadline for this is July. The plan to enroll is in place if you are on waitlists that you intend to still go to/consider.

You can only select "PTE" at schools where you are accepted.
If you are invited in from the WL then you can say you plan to enroll.

Accepted off the waitlist today! FIU alumni, interviewed in September with a committee LOR from FIU & a 507 MCAT 3.95 GPA

im cooked guys, this waistlist has me with insane anxiety. Interviewed October, so its been a long wait lol <3

Hi guys!
Wanted to update and add that I was accepted off the waitlist Thursday 05/02/2024. Crossing my fingers for those of you still waiting for good news.

512 MCAT and GPA was sitting on the lower end (around a 3.5). Interviewed 09/25. LOI was sent in around January / February. FIU alumni

on the waitlist and just applied to GCP. hopefully things start looking up <3 is anyone else thinking about doing GCP?

Also thinking ab it but only because I graduated from FIU and was waitlisted by HWCOM, and they have that potential acceptance guarantee for WL students. Still, the hope is we get picked off the current WL

What private loans are offered? I wish it were a master's program instead because then we'd be allowed to take out federal loans.

since it's a certificate program there's no federal aid program just personal loans ): which does suck honestly. But in the long run whats 20K additional? also FIU is my alma mater and I live in Miami with my family. So FIU is my best option financially when it comes to going to medical school. that's why it's my #1. the program is also 100% in person which.... does suck.. in this day and age...
this year they accepted 9 people into HWCOM from the GCP, and I think almost half were waitlisted the previous year.
 
Just got an IS waitlist acceptance this morning then followed by an email! make sure you post your manifestation in the waitlist thread!

Right now my hope is that some spots will open up after FIU’s commit to enroll deadline, I think it’s on 6/15. But I’m acting under the assumption that the class is full already
