Traditionally an accepted students Facebook page has been created by the student section of the admissions team, around late February to March. When one is created, the link will be posted here to join. You will need to send a screenshot to be admitted into the group, since it will be private. Normally the class also creates a discord that is managed by volunteers from the class itself, but that is usually right before the school year when most of the WL movement has subsided.

They most certainly are. Look at previous year threads + consider that DO schools typically interview thru May or even later.

Those of us that were WL were informed that interviews go on through May because beginning in late May/early June, they start pulling from the WL. Keep your head up, you might get that II soon!

Apparently they don’t release the full list until sometime in May or June. But I did hear the match was really good, including anesthesia, derm, ortho, pathology, and radiology (there was even an ortho match at UCSF!) Common programs were Kaiser Sacramento, St. Joseph’s Stockton, UCSF Fresno, UCSF, UCLA, UCSD, and several out of state. Hope this helps!

Hi, they usually don't call for acceptances; most forms of official communication and updates is through email and/or postal mail. For the time of the email update release, the timing may vary depending on how busy the admissions office is.

From what I recall, they only call applicants who are on the WL if they later on become accepted.

The second deposit is due on May 15th I believe. If you log into your Touro One portal and go to TUConnect, you will find a webpage with tons of information as well as a checklist of things to do before orientation. They just opened this page 2 days ago.

How often/intense are the exams at Touro?

first semester is often - like every week ish because you have anatomy running at the same time as fundamentals of medicine modules (which includes cell bio, immuno, biochem, etc.) the exams themselves are not that intense. There are anki decks made by past years and also google drives. On top of that, there are practice questions professors give. Also, it is pass fail! So definitely, doable.

We wish lmao. You probably heard there is a Touro residency program in stockton from touro alums, but absolutely is not on campus or in vallejo.

For anyone that was WL previous years and was taken off: how quickly were you able to find housing? I'm worried that if I get off the WL it will be near the start of the semester and will struggle to find a place to live lol
