2024-2025 Baylor

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Has anyone who interviewed on 08/09 sent in thank you emails? What is the etiquette for sending thank you emails and how long after should they be sent? Where can I find the emails of my interviewers? Thank you for your help!
If you don’t have their emails send it to the admissions address and mention your interviewers

How do I answer "Have you previously interviewed at BCM?" if I interviewed at BCM under the Rice/Baylor BS/MD program? I got the offer and declined to attend a different undergraduate, but I don't know if they're only asking for applications initiated on TMDSAS.

It should be a positive for you. You were admitted in a highly competitive program before which no longer exists. You should provide that information even if you dont believe it applies to you. Would you have been in 2025-2029 class if you attended Rice?

I was admitted into the Rice/Baylor BS/MD program in 2019 and would have thus been in the 2023-2027 BCM class.

I decided to attend a T3 undergrad and pursued a start up after graduating.

Thanks for your insight -- I'll mention it where it asks if I've interviewed at BCM. Hopefully it won't be seen as a negative that I've declined their offer previously.

It won't be a negative. I know a young woman who was rejected by the Rice/Baylor BS/MD but proved them wrong for rejecting her by getting into Baylor the regular way and doing her residency there too!

For anyone who has already interviewed, how long was the interview day and roughly what time did it end? Planning to keep that day wide open for my interview but may have some stuff going on later that day and was just wondering. Thanks!

Got my interview invite today wahoo!

For those of you who have interviewed, what did the day look like? I have a tiny 45-minute commitment on Friday afternoons so I'm trying to see if I have to miss it.
Read the few comments above, people have said it ends at 4 or at 5:30

LM?

I submitted same day as you but haven't heard back
LM 77. I guess I should clarify that my application was marked as complete/under review (as opposed to submitted) on 7/22. I had submitted my secondary in late June but was waiting on Casper score and a letter of rec.

I wouldn't fret too much. I submitted 7/23 and haven't heard back either, but we'll just have to wait. Perhaps if we still haven't heard back by November, it could be a good idea to send a letter of intent.

Sending an update of some sort in October or November is good
Letter of Intent only if you have interviewed tho

I'm pretty nervous about my interview here tomorrow. Does anyone have any tips or anything helpful if they have already interviewed here? TIA
I know it doesn't help buuuttttt don't be nervous! They are big on making sure you feel welcome and that they are just getting to know you. Each of my interviewers really were just conversations centered around getting to know me as a person. Take a deep breath and go talk to them like you're talking to a good friend, you'll kill it 🙂

Do I need to do anything on the interview page for uploading a scanned green card image if it's not applicable to me? That's all that shows right now.
